The Arkansas Humane Society is a very clean and nice facility, often described as the cleanest animal shelter people have visited. The caretakers and staff are the best people, very kind and special, taking great care of the animals with their best interests at heart. The team rocks. Visitors can spend time with animals in a very pleasant enclosed play area. Many successful adoptions of wonderful pets, including adult dogs, are reported, with the animals being sweet, funny, and full of personality. The shelter supports the community through fostering and adoption processes, showing great patience and dedication. The consistent message is to adopt, not shop, and contributions are welcomed.

This was my first time visiting. It was probably the cleanest animal shelter that I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few of them lately. Trying to find a dog while I was there. Found the best dog. We're going to Foster it and really adopt it. We're doing great with our training. Thanks so much!

Love it here! The caretakers of these beautiful souls take great care of them! And of course the many fur babies are always so sweet! Adopt don't shop y'all!!
