Had a great time with the boat we rented at Prarie Creek Marina. The boat was excellent and the service from the staff was top notch. Can't wait to come back to Beaver Lake!

They really should have trash cans near the day use area. People had left trash everywhere after the weekend. If there were cans, instead of having to find the dumpster near the boat ramp, people may actually use them.

Very busy on the weekends, week days are best time to visit. Wish they had a fishing pier

The launch ramp is world class and well worth the fee unlike many of the Corps of Engineers other facilities on Beaver Lake .

We reserved a boat for a day on the lake this past weekend. When we arrived for the rental we asked about lines and an anchor for when we stopped to swim. We were initially told there weren't any and to just stay close to the boat when swimming. They eventually gave us one and told us what it would cost if we lost it. They seemed more concerned about warning us about all the things we weren't allowed to do with the boat than answering some of our questions. A few hours into our day we wanted to cool off in the water. First issue we encountered was the depth finder was not accurate. The bigger problem was the lower part of the swim ladder was missing! So that made it impossible to get back in the boat If we were in the lake. The only step on the part of the ladder that was there was above the water line. When we brought the boat back we told them how unhappy we were about not having the ladder and not being able to swim. They didn't seem surprised when we told them about the ladder which means they rented us the boat already knowing that it was nonfunctional and knowing we planned to go swimming. They comped our fuel to make up for it, but the whole thing felt really dishonest to us. For anyone who wants to be able to swim, do not rent boat number 10.

We rented a Tritoon and it was a great experience. The boat was newer and in great shape. The dock boys were great and the entire online rental process was easy!!I would highly recommend Prairie Creek Marina to anyone interested in renting a boat!!!!

Rented a boat for a full day. Getting the boat was easy and enjoyed a day of boating and floating. Our boat experienced me hi cal problems and had to be towed in. Marina made it up to us and got squared away. Suggestion would be researching hangout places on the lake before hand.

Came here to paddle board. It was $5 at the gate for a day pass. No cash. It was easy to get the boards in the water and had plenty of room to navigate around the coves. There is a beach to swim and a sand volleyball court here too.

We enjoyed our 1/2 day pontoon rental (150 HP motor) from Prairie Creek. We also rented a tube. With fuel and taxes, we paid close to $500, so it's not cheap. Yes, fuel is extra as you pay for what you use. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We rented on a weekday and it was perfect. No crowds at all and it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Two very clean restrooms near the office. I'd give it 5 stars, but for the cost.

I have taken my family here on two occasions for a boat rental. The experience has been top notch both times. Extremely organized process, very clear terms and expectations, the staff inside and outside are all friendly and helpful.

It was later in the afternoon when my daughters wanted to go tubing on the lake. I walked into the Prairie Creek Marina with absolutely no clue how their operation worked. They were polite, patient, and professional. There was less than half a day left but they still allowed us to rent a NEW tri-toon (less than 10 hours) that allowed all of us to fit safely and comfortable. They provided life vests that were also new. Overall, this whim boat rental went flawlessly and we couldn't have been happier. The girls have already told us to book another trip. Thanks again Prairie Creek Marina! See you soon!

Called to see about getting bait and or supplies and was told the marina doesn't sell anything related to fishing....what a shame, marina that doesn't support the main thing that supports beaver lake. Weird I thought, Wal mart here we come.
