New "fee" structure is ridiculous. Gotta give ticketmaster their cut right? Even Walmarts gotta kiss the ring.

Used to be an awesome place and tickets were reasonable. They teamed up with ticketmaster and its too many fees and unaffordable.

Going to a show in May. Purchased tickets due to an advertised discounted price and it was not applied. Called to get it corrected and found out that earlier that day the "allotment" was hit for that price, still being advertised 2 days later. Going to the show for sure, but it is going to be my first and last experience with the venue since they don't have the ability to honor their mistakes.

Okay venue, extremely high concession prices, can pay extra for a ‘fast pass’ lane, pay extra for extra features like less used public bathrooms. If you’ve got Pitt tickets and you also bought an overpriced bottle of water($5 for a bottle of salty Dasani) you will not be able to take it into the pit with you and will be forced to toss it. This is a particularly large problem whenever it’s oh 105+ degrees Fahrenheit during the summertime.
High ticket fees, recent switch to Ticketmaster to “better serve our fans” is one of the biggest slaps in the face to people who actually liked an independent box office at a local venue.

One highlight about The AMP was that they didn’t use Ticketmaster for ticketing, which was a major plus. Unfortunately, they’ve now switched to Ticketmaster. I’d rather drive to one of the many other venues that offer better amenities and a more comfortable experience if I’m forced to give up the best thing about seeing a show at this venue. Disappointing and poor decision by Walmart AMP

Sad to hear the amp is picking up ticketmaster to broker online ticket sales. If I wanted to pay $$$$$$ in fees, I guess I would be thrilled. Why not provide this service in house as the amp has done for years, no need to pay somebody out of state what was done here for years. This takes away jobs from local residents, and doesn't do anything to enhance the service provided. Just increases the cost while outsourcing a vital community role. Bring back the WAC!!!!

Ticketmaster.
That's it.
That's the whole review.
Very disappointed with today's announcement.
Fix it.

Walmart Amp made the awful decision to transition to Ticketmaster

This used to be one of my favorite venues. I attended more events this past year than I ever had before, due mostly to the Amp and the ease of buying reasonably priced tickets on their website. Unfortunately today they happily announced they'd partnered with Ticketmaster for all sales moving forward. This move is so anti consumer I'll never buy another ticket to their venue again. Very very very insulting to those of us who've supported and used to enjoy attending their shows.

This place just gets worse and worse. Now you have to purchase tickets through ticketmaster and pay those fees on top of fees and the scalpers. Won't be attending any more concerts here. Might even sell the tickets for the 2 I was going to see in 20204

Love going to the Amp for concerts BUT, when it’s cheaper to go see a concert at the Ryman with a VIP pass than to go here, something is wrong. Was going to buy 4 tickets for Allison Krauss but I saw $47 for tax and $98 for fees, I stopped. Can’t spend $600 for 4 tickets. That’s ridiculous.

It was a great facility. Was awesome time for us! Thankful we were on 4th row from stage because it looked pretty crowded in grass. The line for us for tickets was no line because we were on Austin's list, so not any waiting there. The alcohol line was quick and you get through fast! The longest line they had was for merch. Also there is a smoking area in there!! Bathroom line little wait at times but not to terrible. Overall wonderful music facility for sure! Plus the concert was amazing 👏

The venue is freaking spectacular. PROS: Ticket price was amazing, seated sections are a great view, security lines ran smoothly and efficiently, parking attendants were great with direction and very kind, PLENTY of free parking which was easily accessible, had a alcohol tent called “The Freezer” which was liquor sales only and you didn't have to wait in line with people ordering food which made it a in and out process, bathrooms were very clean. Sound was the best ive heard and ive been to many concerts. Screens are high quality and huge! October in Arkansas was spectacular weather you cant beat it. You could hear Kehlani doing sound check if you were in nearby pinnacle hills earlier in the day, pretty cool. CONS: Seated areas specifically 107 are very tight and close to a neighbor. Those seats are not meant for two plus sized people to sit next to each other. Bless his heart but I got seated next to a rather “fluffy” and “hippy” young guy and lets just say his hips and thighs were completely brushed up against me while we were seated. You will be miserable if you get a middle seat. Thank God we were able to get up and move around once the show starts. Next time i personally would only buy the seats on the front or back row of the seated sections if you like space, Otherwise its way too close quarters. Also the seated areas didn't seem to have much security and ushers monitoring just the pit. I got seated next to a rowdy group and there was no attendant near our section the entire time and they knew it. Kind of felt unsafe if a serious matter had occurred we would had to walk up to find someone near the lawn area. Kudos to the Walton family they are bringing quality music artists to that area and it was a night i’ll never forget. ❤️❤️ Kehlani 10-12-24
