The War Eagle Mill, nestled in the beautiful War Eagle Valley, offers a unique historical experience in the Ozarks. Visitors can explore the 200-year-old mill, learn about the region's history, and shop for organic and locally made foods, as well as local crafts. The mill features a restaurant on the third floor, providing a peaceful view of the river below. While the menu is limited, the food is tasty. Guests can also enjoy the serenity of the area, with a swing and chairs to relax, and the option to take a dip in the clean river. The historic bridge and the country store add to the charm of this hidden gem, making it an excellent destination for families and those seeking a glimpse into the past.
Such a cool place tucked away from the city. It's all free unless you dine there, or buy something from the general store. Bring some water shoes to take a walk across the river (rocks will hurt your feet)

Be sure to ask for the free Mill tour. Not long, but very informative.
