Pinnacle Mountain Hard Side is a beautiful state park offering a variety of trails for hikers of different skill levels. Visitors can choose between easier routes and more challenging paths, including the popular east summit, which provides stunning views of Lake Ouachita and the surrounding Arkansas landscape. The park is also known for its steep climbs, making it great exercise. For those looking for more activities, kayaking and paddleboarding are available for rent, though canoe rentals have been discontinued. The cost for a kayak rental is around $65 for a two-person kayak for the day. The park features a well-developed playground, restrooms, and ample parking, but visitors should be mindful of parking regulations to avoid hefty fines. While exploring, it's important to pay attention to trail markers to avoid losing the path, especially on the more complex routes. The shaded areas make for a cooler hike on hot days, but bug spray is recommended. The park is also a great spot for dog walking, and many recommend hiking to the summit for breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Overall, Pinnacle Mountain Hard Side offers a great outdoor experience for both locals and visitors.

Not gonna lie, lost the trail a bit on the way to the base of the steep part. Pay attention to those tree markers because foot traffic clearings can lead you astray.
