“Great selection of snack foods. We came in for some cleaning products, snacks, and the chocolate milk (its my daughters favorite brand), and found everything easily and was able to check out without drama.”
“This is your normal dollar store. It is on the smaller side. I tend to only get to go here during my lunch hour and there is always a line and they only ever have one cashier working. So I do wish when they notice more than a couple of people in line they would open up a second register.”
“Had an amazing experience at this Dollar General yesterday thanks to two outstanding employees. A petite woman working in the back went completely out of her way to help me find what I needed, walking me all the way to the front of the store to show me exactly where it was. Even after helping me, I watched her immediately assist another customer while restocking. The cashier was equally wonderful - super nice, thoughtful, genuinely upbeat and cheerful, and took time to explain things appropriately.
Honestly, you wouldn’t expect this level of service at Dollar Tree. This is the kind of exceptional customer care you’d typically find at places where staff works on commission. But I was happily surprised by their genuine dedication. It’s so refreshing to encounter employees who truly care about providing excellent service regardless. Highly recommend this location!”

“I was just in the store, the employees are very nice and friendly. My experience was a little different, I did not have my wallet and barely enough cash to pay, but a customer behind me, payed for my entire bill, he give the money back to my grandkids and said to split it evenly between the three of them. I would love to thank him again and the employee for everything.

There's others at the same location that are awesome. I pray that location will keep up the ? customer service. I don't go to other stores in Van Buren cause they are not friendly,But the location I give the 5 ⭐ rates Is very friendly and that's why I come to that location to shop!”
“So happy that we have some produce (sometimes) and some salad, potatoes, meats, etc - We have needed it, ever since our grocer closed.
The store is clean- and some things stay stocked - YET- other sections seem to NEVER get stocked - & other sections SELDOM get stocked- idk why......
The EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY & HELPFUL! The things that are in stock, seem to get onto the shelves in a reasonable amount of time. (I used to work at the Mtburg DG, back not too long after it just opened - (the 1st one)
The SELF CHECKOUT was SO AWESOME - But it got closed down COMPLETELY- due to some apparent SHOPLIFTERS - Apparently it will NEVER be reopened - after spending all the money to get them put in- we have to wait in ONE long line for the ONE checker - while we stare at all 4 of the SELF CHECKOUT registers ???
I wish they would set up security cameras to take care of security so we can USE the SELF CHECKOUT!!! ?! (HINT HINT) because somehow- all the other stores can police their merchandise..... Walmart records everything ! Please tell the district manager to FIND THE BUDGET FOR SOME SECURITY CAMERAS!?
The Arts & Crafts supplies - I have purchased MANY of those supplies, myself, & NONE of those items have ever been replaced, in MONTHS & MONTHS ??? It makes me sad-”
“So thankful for Manager Rita who went above and beyond to help me complete a Tax Exempt order (could not be completed through the app and I was too sick to enter the store) when I most needed it. Got this bluetooth portable speaker at the Family Dollar on Grand Ave in Fort Smith Arkansas and love it. Has awesome sound is lightweight and lights have movement to the music. Has radio too.
