The Dam Site Public Use Area is a well-maintained outdoor recreation spot with various amenities. The pavilion is nice and has access to electricity and water, while the restrooms, though a bit distant, are fairly clean. The area is great for fishing, but visitors should be cautious of broken bottles and fish hooks. The cottonwood trees can be a nuisance during the seeding season, but the playground and picnic areas provide ample space for families and large gatherings. The facility is dog-friendly, and the restrooms are well-managed, making it an overall enjoyable destination for outdoor activities.
The pavilion we used was very nice and well maintained. We had access to electricity and water the restrooms were about 50 yards away that were fairly clean. Good park

Great place to get down by the water to fish. Just don't go barefoot as I have seen quite a few broken bottles and fish hooks.
