We have tried Mediterranean food in multiple parts of the country and this is one of the better ones.

We were just passing through and stopped to get some lunch. The food is great. Zucchini fries and portobello fries are excellent. The servers were very friendly. Thank

The food was very good. It took a long time to get my food. I waited for my food more than half an hour and I just had a gyro and fries. The wait staff were apologetic for my wait and were doing their best. I would definitely go back, but not when I’m in a hurry.

The ambiance was nice and casual. The service was attentive but not overbearing. We had the falafel gyros and hummus appetizer. The olive oil on the hummus had great flavor and the falafel was really good very similar to the first falafel I ever tried.

Greek cafe. Open atmosphere. Not very inviting. Food was ok. It's nice, just not my style.

So excited we found Foodies! Excellent Greek food, large portions, a charming atmosphere, super fast service, great staff and great prices! Would make a point of returning if we are ever back this way!

The portion was plentiful. Very flavorful. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food did not take a long time to get out to us. The soft pita was savory. Only critique would be the taziki, it was very sour creamy.

Our first time at Foodies. Good Greek food. Not many gluten free options. My husband had the chicken shawarma and I had the vegetable plates. I will recommend both.

My wife and I went to Foodies today for the 1st time. The selection was perfect. I had the grilled vegetables with chicken and my wife had the gyro platter. AMAZING. The flavors were perfect. Our server Kennedy was so friendly and informative. You gotta try the cheesecake!

Foodies is Russellville’s ethnic food option. Such as it is, offering an exotic escape from barbecue, burritos or fried chicken. The area is a Mediterranean food desert. No other options for miles in any direction.Unfortunately, I found it to be a disappointing example of Greek food. The hummus had a good garlicky flavor, but was a little dry, coarse and grainy. Not smooth and creamy as is preferred. A good splash of olive oil would have helped.I had the beef Shish Kebabs, described as tender steak filet. It was most likely sirloin. I expelled several pieces of unchewable gristle. The slices of squash were dry and stale. The rice was mediocre. The tzatziki was a thick tasteless Greek yogurt lacking any flavor of cucumber, garlic, lemon or olive oil. A boring platter of food not justifying the $16 cost.My wife had a lamb gyro with fries. It was a good serving of gyro meat with a small amount of the lame tzatziki. Fresh cut fries filled the plate of food. Nothing spectacular.Burgers may be your best bet here, but if you are wanting to sample the closest thing to Greek food in Russellville, order the lamb gyro. The service was adequate. For other reviews laced with superfluous, time-wasting inessential information, sarcastic diatribe and subjective opinion, follow Spike S. on Yelp and Spike Speedwell on Google
