The ladies were super nice. I took my husband for his first pedicure and he was not impressed. His heels were still rough and she didn't do well on cutting his toe nails. My pedicure was ok until she scraped off a big humk of my skin by my big toe. Will not be going back or recommending them.

I went to Magic Nails on Main Street. Usually, I just go there to get my eyebrows waxed because the nail salon that I usually go to does not do waxes. So today (Thursday, August 3rd, 2023) I go into Magic Nails and ask for an eyebrow wax. A Hispanic lady with long, curly blonde hair (who I am going to call Woman A because I do not know her real name) led me back to the room where they do waxes. She paid such close attention to detail and did not rush through it. My eyebrows look AMAZING. I then decide “What the heck? I may as well get a pedicure while I am here.” Carmen (unsure of spelling) did my pedicure. She has done my eyebrow waxes in the past, and I love her! She is so kind and takes her time doing whatever it is she is doing. So far, I have no complaints with the wax or pedicure. It is when I go to the dryer that things start to go awry.A spot something on the floor; it is a roach. I immediately panic: 1. because I have a major, irrational fear of bugs 2. because it was already dead, so I automatically assume that there are more live ones around. When I regain my composure, I notice that one of the technicians is ASLEEP AND SNORING on the couch in middle of the salon. I understand that they have extremely long days, but to take a nap in middle of the salon while there are at least 5 customers within earshot of you is just unprofessional in every way. IT DOESN’T STOP THERE. At this point, I have been sitting at the dryer for 3-4 minutes. Carmen, bless her soul, comes over to check on my toes. She asks if I want some disposable sandals to wear. I say yes because when I walk my big toe tends to crowd the second toe. I have toe separators in to help combat this issue. Carmen walks to the back, and on her way back to me, she trips over something and falls. Two of the other ladies that were doing pedicures go over to her and make sure she is okay. I turn around to ensure that she does not need help, and the guy on the couch is still asleep. An Asian male walked up to me and tells me that my toes are dry without even touching them. Remind you, I have not been sitting under the dryer for maybe 5 minutes at this point.About this time, Woman A (one who did my eyebrow wax) walks up with the disposable sandals and tries to hand them to the guy. He pushes them away, rips out the toe separators, and tells me I am good. Carmen is still on the ground. He does not check on her. My toes (surprise, surprise) are still wet. Woman A and I make eye contact and she gave me a look of “I am so sorry.” I laugh (not at her, but at the whole situation) and get up to leave. Thank GOODNESS I decided not to get a fill even though the male asked me on 3 separate occasions. I walked out of the salon, sat in my car, and deliberated on what happened. It was the most chaotic/awkward/interesting experience I have EVER had in a salon, and that’s saying a lot because I’ve being going for almost 13 years now.To end this story, I want to reiterate that Carmen, Woman A, and the other female workers were nothing but comforting and paid close attention to detail. However, the males that were in the salon need a lesson on professionalism. It was the worst $40 I have ever spent in terms of experience. I walked away with wet nails (that are now messed up), an embarrassment for the other patrons and workers, and utter disgust at the business as a whole. I feel so bad for the workers who do a genuinely excellent job because they have nothing to do with the way other people act. With that being said, I will NOT be going back, which I hate because Carmen and Woman A did such a fantastic job.

Wednesday, I made my bi-weekly nail appointment with the best nail tech in the store, Paula. Faith is also a great nail tech by the way. Paula takes her time and does not nickel and dime you. She’s a great conversationalist and remembers various things I have going on in my life and always asks about them. She also educates me on how to better take care of my nails.Someone answered my call and told me Paula can come in on Friday at 10 for my regular set of gel nails. I faithfully arrive 15 minutes early during an awful storm outside. When I arrive, I stated that I have an appointment with my regular nail tech and John states she’s still on vacation. He calls her and then tells me she won’t be back until tomorrow, Saturday, for her regular hours. I asked how they were going to make this right and he says he doesn’t know what to telI me, I can have him do my nails or I can reschedule. kindly request another 10am and leave back in the awful storm.I arrive Saturday at 10am for John to tell me again that Paula is not there. He said she won’t be back until Sunday. I ask why I was lied to not just once but twice! He then makes it out to be my fault in saying anyone can do my nails but I’m the particular one who has to see someone specific. I’ve seen some of the others work and read previous online reviews and I KNOW Paula is the one to choose. He then calls Paula and puts her on speaker phone for the ENTIRE store to hear her. She specifically says that she told John yesterday, Friday at 10am, that she would NOT be back in town until Sunday. I made sure Paula knew I was not frustrated with her but I was frustrated with being lied to by two employees and then made it out to be my fault. I scheduled an appointment directly with Paula for Sunday at 3pm.I’m a very busy healthcare clinician and my time is extremely limited. I always call a few days ahead to make my appointments and I always arrive on time. I do my part and I would like the rest of the staff to do theirs. The lack of customer service from here is very disappointing.I will keep going here to be seen by Paula and Paula ONLY.

Asked for an ombré which they did a fantastic job on with a different nail tech the first time I was in there so I came back hoping for the same experience.. wrong. 60+ dollars later here’s my “ombré” and I had to go home and shape my own nails. The guy who worked on my nails should’ve spoken up and said he didn’t know how to do the design, I would’ve gladly picked something else. I didn’t bother complaining to the owner because she looked at my nails and said “would’ve looked better longer but your nails are short” oh really? because 3 weeks prior Randy did a perfect ombré on my nails that were even shorter than these. Not to mention some of my nails are extremely thick, some of the color is darker on certain nails, they were never even filed down evenly. The top coat was never applied properly. If you go here just be aware of the quality of the nails you may receive.

My daughter and I came for pedicures and manicures and we were so pleased! The young lady that did my pedicure (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) was so thorough getting off my calluses, but was gentle around any problem areas on my toes (warning, TMI: I take a kickboxing class where I'm often barefoot which causes some tearing on the bottom of my big toes). So many places don't get all the calluses off, but she managed to do it while also being gentle! And Randy did a great job with my acrylic set, even with my very talkative husband asking him a million questions. They were awesome with my daughter's mani-pedi and we just had a great time. We will be back!

I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. Awful. I had an appointment set for 5:45, showed up at 5:30 and by 7:30 the only thing they had done was remove the polish from my toes. A lady doing someone else’s nails asked how I wanted mine and when I showed her the length I wanted she rolled her eyes and was super rude about it. I ended up only getting my toes done and they weren’t even what I wanted. I was late for work and left with less than I had hoped for. I’ll never come back. Take your money elsewhere to a company who cares about their customers.

Horrible service, the tech nicked me when cutting my cuticles and never apologized and never looked at anything other than her phone. Was very rough and rude!!! Then it said $20 for manicure but she charged me $30 and pointed and said" you pay me $30" I will NEVER go back there...I paid $30 for my nails to get painted and it was a horrible experience

the lady was incredibly rude, was on a phone call the entire time, and made my cuticle bleed. not to mention i was charged 60 dollars (before tip) when the sales price listed was 40 and the nails came out with an off shape anyways. i will not be going back and i would not recommend. ):Service: Gel manicures

Tried to get a specific design and when I didn’t like them and just told her to put them solid she got super mad and threw polish on left acrylic and polish on my skin even tho I told her I would give a good tip for trying she was still rude but I tipped her anyways because she did try but done nothing as I asked and wouldn’t given me the time to explain what I wanted then added something I didn’t ask for and after telling her she just got more irritated. She was already that way when I got there and I was paying $100 for my set and was still treated like thisService: Acrylic nails
