About Plantation Agriculture Museum
The Plantation Agriculture Museum is a very well done and fantastic place to learn about Arkansas history and the state's rich agriculture heritage. It provides lots of information on the cotton industry, sharecropper's life, and the 1920s and 30s with real cotton plants, old machinery, and great representations. The exhibits are interesting and educational. The staff is super nice and incredibly knowledgeable. It is a really nice and good place to visit for a traveling family, is educational, and is free with a great gift shop.

20th century farming life. Interesting place regarding the machinery and mechanics of farming. Added to the state park passport for AR state park system. Worth a short detour.

What a fun, interactive site! I can't say enough about how pleasant the staff have be at the state parks.

Easy access off of Hwy 165 and Hwy 161 Crossroads. Located on a short drive off of US freeway 440. Great staff with a great story to tell about Arkansas cotton farming and agriculture of the 20th century. It's worth the drive from Little Rock for a quick day trip.
