So the idea is great, however they are in dire need of funding, repairs, maintenance and management. The tour guide was friendly, however constantly shared her "white guilt" about the history she is discussing which was most aggravating on top of fire ants, wasps out the wazoo, and tall wet grass (no paths). This would be greatly improved if the state or county took over. It has great potential as the buildings are a great piece of local and national history. The buildings were full of spider webs and wasps so be aware.

I saw lots of historical artifacts and other things. It was reminiscing for me and educational for my daughter. My parents grew up sharecropping on one of Scott's plantations.
