I’ve been banking at first security for over 30 years. Called one day to get a quote on a in-house loan of what the interest would be. They tell me that I have to come in in person before they would talk to me and tell me something that simple when I was just wanting a ballpark figure.
So I call another bank First Community Bank out of Batesville and they were more than glad to talk to me and give me a ballpark figure of what a in-house interest rate would be. So it looks like after 30 years I’m going to change banks.

If I could give 0 stars then they would have -5. I had a business account with them for 12 years and when the business closed, so did the account. After a few months I had 2 checks arrive made out to the business. After doing business with them for 12 years and having a personal account even longer and knowing me all these years, they wouldn’t cash the business checks for me using my personal account. One of the checks was from Entergy and the other from a company that I had been getting checks from on a monthly basis the entire time I was in business so they were familiar with the company. Another issue I had with them was there wasn’t enough money in my personal account for them to draft a payment for a loan I have with them and after I realized this I went to the atm to deposit the money so I could then transfer it to the loan account but I wasn’t able to because they had shut off my debit card. The next day I went to one of the branches and made the loan payment then withdrew the money left in my personal account. They have charged me for my kids savings account being overdrafted because of a judgment against my ex husband (we were together at the time the accounts were opened so both our names were on those). They took that money from my personal account without contacting me about it first. The women who work at the branch in the town where I live aren’t properly trained. They act like they are unable to help with anything and tell you to go to the main bank about everything. This bank needs some lessons in customer service and customer appreciation.

I’m thinking the same as the rest of you why be at this bank. I’m going to make sure people that think there better then anyone else. I’m just trying to get a debit card cause they shut mine off for fraud.
I’m in California. No cash and there is nothing they ca n do. I’m not rich. Waited 5 days to hear sorry I never ordered it. I didn’t know if you needed it. They never had a zero star so for that I gave them a one star. They think there better then everyone else at this bank.

Rudest older lady at the window! Stop by to deposit money. I put in my money & account card, the lady asked me something which I couldn’t hear & thought she was asking me for a phone number then she repeats & yells …YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER! I immediately was bothered, I responded “you don’t have to yell at me like that” then she follow with asking me what my name was. After all this was so unnecessary from her part & unprofessional.

Thank you so very much to Will. I was scammed out of $145. I was so embarrassed and did not know what to do. But with his general guidance we were able to figure out a way to get the money back into my account to pay the scammers. I have been banking with first security since 2010 and did not want to mess up my account. I live in a fixed income and there was no way I could have come up with the money. But thew my tears he help find a way.

We have been trying to close on a home for several weeks only to be put off by someone who obviously cannot do their job. Why would a professional place of business have someone like this employed?
