Only reason I give them a 1 star is that their automated system is horrible. There should be a number where one can call the local office for questions. I have not received a paper bill. And there is hardly ever anyone to speak to someone on the 800 number. And their rates are overly ridiculous!!!!!! Only reason we have this company is because no other internet company comes to our area.

Expect constant outages, don’t use them if you own or operate a business. Also they are pathetic for turning off the review tabs on google for other regions. I encourage everyone to switch services. THEY DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

If I could give zero stars, I would. They're HORRIBLE! I have had nothing but issues with them and have made several requests on the same problems that still remain unfixed after months. I've never been so frustrated with an internet provider. The connection is so bad that I rarely can even use it on a single device, I usually don't even attempt multiple devices at once. I NEVER have the speed I pay for and was eceb told by a tech once that based on the equipment they have its impossible for them to run to the full capacity of what they advertise. I truly can't explain how much I hate using them.

I've called for the past 3 weeks for someone to come out here to fix what was suppose to be fixed months ago for my husbands great grandmother and no one has helped me at all they came out promised to come back at a later time and never did we have been paying for our services for weeks with no use to it at all. Very disappointed they lied and didn't even put it in a work order to be done we are just forgotten, and also what needs to be fixed is right outside my window so I would be able to see if anyone came and no one has came to fix it. Guess we keep paying for nothing.

I depend on my internet service to be reliable. Through no fault of WCC, my modem died/fried on Saturday evening. I Called Cablelynx tech support to verify that the new modem I was going to purchase at WalMart would be compatible with my service (as I have always leased one from WWC, and this was my first purchase of one)...They let me know, it would, however I would have to wait until Monday when the WCC office was open before I could "register" the modem...UNACCEPTABLE!!! If you have a current valid account, and you have purchased your own modem...why does the billing office need to "register" my modem. The tech support person told me it was just a technicality for the billing office...Tech support just needed the unit Id to send the signal to...I know it sounds like 1 day is not a big deal to be without internet...however, I have a business that requires me to have internet access even at home 24/7 AND I have gone 100% internet for EVERYTHING...Good thing I was able to utilize my phone hot spot for emergencies (but my data is extremely limited). My suggestion...someone needs to be available to "register" a modem from WWC over the weekend, or figure out a way to allow Cablelynx to activate it and deal with "registration" during business hours.

*Update - After 3 years, their internet has not improved at all! Constant outages, half the time I dont get the speeds I am paying for. If you are a gamer you can forget it with this internet. Your latency will spike to 500ms+ constantly. Due to this company being the only internet in my part of town of Searcy I am stuck with it until I move out of Searcy. There was an article published about the worst places for internet. Searcy was mentioned as one if not the worst. Until Searcy gets a better provider I highly recommend you look elsewhere unless internet is not a concern of yours.

As a resident on the west side of Searcy, my limited options for internet service provider led me to subscribe to White County Cable. Given my profession in the IT industry and remote work situation, a stable and high-speed internet connection was paramount to my productivity. However, I was frequently plagued by network disconnections, underwhelming download and upload speeds, and service outages that necessitated my reliance on my mobile phone's hotspot. Fortunately, my power company, Connect2First, eventually extended their internet services to my area, providing me with a dependable 1-gigabit connection.Despite having terminated my subscription with White County Cable for a period of two years, I received a payment demand letter from them. Upon contacting the company, I was informed that I had no outstanding balances with them. Regrettably, a collection agency has now approached me to remit payment alongside late fees. Should this matter remain unresolved, I am compelled to leave a negative review of the company. Such proceedings are vexatious and unwarranted.Update: 05/30/23I regret to inform White County Cable that I am unable to uphold my commitment to their services. The decision stems from the unfortunate unreliability of their service, which poses a significant challenge to the demands of my job, necessitating a consistent and dependable internet connection.Furthermore, I feel compelled to mention that current Google reviews of White County Cable will provide potential customers with insights into the nature and reputation of the company.

Internet service has been better this past year than when i had it 2 years ago. We don't actually call White County Cable for service, we called CableLynx and they provided good customer service. It took a few tries but they eventually solved our speed issue by replacing one of their lines.

Had this service when I was living in an apartment. Accidentally renewed a contract for a year after I had plans on moving out of state. All I can say is the service rarely worked, had the “best options available” and it was still like 100mbs with an unlimited data cap but my WiFi would be out at least 1-2 times a week and I work from home so that’s a major inconvenience. As of now I’ve been paying off this 1 year contract for about 9 months and haven’t used it but for the first 2 months. Payed late 1 month and they charged me a service fee for turning it back on, mentioned multiple times they didn’t need to do that but hey whatever that can do to cash grab you further amirite? Switched to Optimum, so far much better experiences
