Need to update this review it is not the Dollar General, my apologies, I'm reviewing the Family Dollar on Baseline Rd here, I would recommend anyone to the Dollar General on Baseline and Stanton... MThe Baseline Dollar General, the manager is very rude, she needs to get off the register and go in the office and let an employee check us out, they are friendly, I take my business to the Geyer Springs Family Dollar now, they are all nice in there also, the store is very clean, employees are nice and helpful 5⭐s....

Really enjoy coming out to this location bc of the open variety of things they have compared to the one on the other side of town. But this experience was truly embarrassing for who ever manages this store. We picked up our few things needed and headed to checkout where the cashier was carrying on a phone conversation ON SPEAKER. Not once did this cashier greet us nor even speak to us until she then said our total and went straight back to her cell phone call. very unprofessional.

Has a lot of services available, including various gift cards, household items, partysupplies, pet supplies, some groceries (including basics such as /milk/bread/eggs/baking supplies), sandwich meat, cheese, frozen dinners, bacon, ice cream, seasonal decor, cleaning supplies, health & beauty supplies, and even kitchen utensils/cooking utensils. There is also a Redbox outfront with non-handicap parking right in front of it.

Should've gone to Walmart. I went to this location lastnight October 30 2021 at 6:37 for burger buns and fries. I waited in line for what felt like ten minutes because the 2 people working there couldn't figure out how to do a buy 2 get one free on pizzas and actually talked about the customer when she ran out to her car. They never apologized to her and didn't even offer any kind of solution to the problem. She finally got frustrated and asked for the transaction to be canceled. THEY LET HER TAKE HER ITEMS THAT WERE STILL IN BAGS AND PUT THEM ALL AWAY WITH ZERO OFFER TO HElP HER. When I stepped forward to have my items scanned the attitudes completely changed and the dark haired cashier and blound girl that I assume was a manager were all smiles and seemed so happy with themselves now that the woman with the cart of groceries that they were to incompetent to check out was gone. Dollar general has always been a last resort for me. After the absolute disrespect I saw lastnight and the obvious discrimination I will not be back to this location. I hope the girls working lastnight see this and are fired immediately. Very very unprofessional and extremely disrespectful.

Absolutely loved the interaction of the cashier. She was funny and very polite. The manager was busy putting fright up but she still acknowledged customers! This DG is my go to store!
