Considered several factors in this purchase: capability, convenience/features and bang for the buck. Went with the 25 ton unit since independent reviews spoke highly of this splitter. Hydraulic bed tilts for larger logs. Added the log catcher table too, which is such a time saving item that also saves your back from bending over to pick up the other half of each split.”
