I leased a unit and ended up never accessing or using it. After a week of the lease, I asked Jeff to cancel it and also requested a refund. He gave the refund and cancelled the lease without question or pushback.

We rented from American Self Storage for many years. Excellent place to rent a storage unit. Building was well maintained and personnel always pleasant and easy to reach!

Horrible experience. Left bedroom suites and other household appliances in here for 2 years. It had a water leak in the room, completely ruined the mattresses and damaged some of the furniture. Absolutely no help from owner, claims no responsibility for an indoor/climate controlled facility.
Wouldn't recommend anyone using this facility, for the amount I paid monthly, you would think the facility would be maintained better.
If you do have anything here, I highly recommend checking in on your unit. I doubt this was just one unit affected.
** Edit** Litigation was only spoke of after they informed me they would do nothing in compensation for the damages incurred at their indoor, temperature controlled facility.

This storage facility is very secure and is always extremely clean. The temperature in the building is controlled very well and the units are in excellent shape. I utilized this facility for over a year with absolutely no issues. I only left because our new home was completed. I recommend American Storage to anyone in need of a safe and secure storage facility.

I had to make a sudden move last year from Louisiana and American Storage made the process SOOO easy. They were so accommodating, helpful and easy to get ahold of. We just bought a house and everything we had in the storage unit was in the same condition it was a year ago. Highly recommend!!

My sister and I have been with them for nearly 10 years. And they have always been really great with us. They fix any problems we have and have always been prompt when we ask/request something.Nothing has ever turned up missing. So I know they do not go into our storage unit; and it's Climate controlled! Nice and cool during summer.
