It’s fine I understand where you are coming from, the only issue I had with the hairstyle at the end was the fact that she had thinned it out too much on the top. I told her about this and sent her a video. I had got this haircut twice already from another stylist with no issues, but she had moved away which is why I wanted to give y’all a shot! Nevertheless, the haircut wasn’t bad it was just one simple mistake of taking too much weight off the top. I haven’t got the top cut since then, and would be glad to come into the salon to show you what I am talking about.

If you like a negative authoritarian atmosphere this is your best bet. The stylist was fine, the business ownership / management seam to think they are doing the consumer a favor by letting us spend money with them…

I used to live near here and found this salon. Live a bit further away, but they have great service and do such a great job for my haircut, which is just a men's haircut that I come back here every time for a haircut. All of the stylist's are great and good to work with. Salon has a good atmosphere. Appointments are easy to book online, though seems like they do fill up fast.

I am so frustrated. The stylist Kaylee didn't converse with me at all during my appointment, got hair dye caked into my ears while applying it to my hair, and missed an entire chunk of my hair towards the back of my head when she bleached it. My appointment was a few weeks ago now and even cleaning dye out of my ears for several days wasn't enough to make me post a bad review, but earlier today when I was brushing my hair and noticed a dark brown stripe in the middle of the back of my head from where she missed a large chunk when covering my roots, I lost it. I am devastated that I wasted money going to this salon just so I could leave with less confidence than when I walked in.

Very disappointed on how they work, had a great experience the first time my sister cut her hair and decided to go back to Kaylee who had cut her hair to dye her hair as a graduation gift. My sister had a picture in vision and showed it to stylist. Take in mind that my sister hair is a virgin and hardly puts heat in it. She was told that it would take 2 sessions to get to “honey blonde balayage” after asking other salons she was told it could be done on the first try but still wanted to give the stylist who cut her hair a try as due to having a great hair cut by her. My sister came out with more like “highlights” and did not look nothing like the picture at all!!! My sister wasn’t to upset about it but wanted to talk to Kaylee to see how to fix for second session. Her hair was more of a reddish orange color! Called the salon was told they can’t give the hair stylist phone number and had to contact on social media. In my opinion as a business not being able to text your stylist is very bazar but respected that. Contacted her on social media never replied. I’m just so annoyed and will not be going back at all. Never in my life has it been that hard and felt ignore after paying so much. I would have given $1000 if so but that fact that you can’t text or get ahold her for my sister to have the hair color she wanted makes me angry. Day 5 and still no reply.
Lost future clients and I believe they should be more professional. Nothing like a one on one text or call then having to hunt for your stylist.

I was very uncomfortable with Cheryl. This was my first time at Haven and she got onto me for being late; acted as if i was a child, I’m a college student. I was still in their late policy but she acted as if i was extremely stupid and clueless. Life happens, traffic happens. no one is perfect. After trimming my hair, she commented on how bad my split ends were, and not in a way to just make me aware, it was in a way that made me feel like i can’t take care of myself and that i should be ashamed of myself. She was also not the nicest towards her coworkers, and you could tell she made the environment of the salon very negative. I left the salon crying of insecurity, as it’s very easy for a teenage girl to feel insecure, especially after your hairstylist rips you to shreds on purpose. The job of a hairstylist is to make you feel beautiful and brand new with your style, not like you should feel guilty for sitting in the chair. Everyone else was lovely, but Cheryl was truly awful.

I go to Cheryl for my balayage and haircut and she is amazing! I was trying to change up my look last summer since having a child and she encouraged me to try something new and dramatic (while also practical) and it turned out amazing! Since then, I've only let her touch my hair. I always appreciate her suggestions and our conversations.
