In the year 2024, and going on 2025, Walmart doesn’t accept Cherokee National, and —Federal Photo Identification— ( Tribal enrollment cards may be used as official identification to verify the age of a person purchasing age restricted products, but not at Walmart )

Horrible checkout experience. I'll give it 2 stars because a few employees were helpful in helping me find things. I thought the selection was average, not plentiful. But the worst part that ruined the whole experience was check out. I've never seen such an awkward and ridiculous system. They put your things in bags on a rotating carousel. You're supposed to know which bags are yours and which are empty. I grabbed a few bags I thought were mine, and looked directly at the checkout person, and said "do I have everything". She said, "don't forget your cokes", which were not bagged. I grabbed them, figured I had everything, and left. I got to my destination 45 minutes away and the shredded chicken I had bought for my dogs for dinner was gone. As well as some protein shakes for my wife. I guess I never picked them up, and they never pointed them out. My dogs went hungry. I guess I can always kill a squirrel for them today. Or I can drive an hour and a half out of my way to go out and back, and get the things that they didn't make sure I had when I left. I think this is the dumbest system I've ever seen. Directly hand me my things in the bags, like all other grocery stores do, instead of putting them on a carousel that is confusing.

Used to be well stocked and good customer service. Not anymore. The store is way to busy all time and staff can't keep up. Also employees block isles with crates to stock in the busiest time.

PHARMACY drive thru tech SUCKED big time. Linda had no patience while I was trying to get the correct medicine dose from family members over the phone. Then when she tried to swipe the card for payment, I didn’t go thru. While I was trying transfer fund into the card, she said, “I have to help other customers.” Yet, there was no one behind me nor was there anyone in the store counter to help. So I left the drive thru and came back again and Brian was able to help. Said, “hi” and asked what I needed help with. I asked him where’s the person that helped me before, he said she went for lunch. I told him, no wonder she was grumpy.
Key to working with people is patience, and listening to them. Sometimes people don’t know their exact doses of meds cuz they take soooo many, so be patience. And if a payment doesn’t go thru, have patience for the customer to get other payment or figure it out. Don’t need to be all demanding and grumpy just cuz your belly is hungry. That’s a YOU PROBLEM, keep it to yourself!!!

Last night I went in the store, bought some stuff and realized I forgot my wallet in my vehicle. I told the girl I would be right back I was just going to grab my wallet. When I came back in my stuff was gone. I found it with another employee but still ....and forget about asking any young girl for help finding anything because you ain't getting help inless you are a young man. I used to.love this store but not so much anymore.

The thing about Walmart is. They come behind you and check to see if you are stealing something and if that’s how they feel take out the self checkout and put back in those people who think we are stealing something !
