“The bar that they have attached to this place is really nice. Drinks are good. Bartender was cool. It was a little busy on the Saturday that I went, but in a good way.”
“It sufficed for the Texarkana area..various vendors, great entertainment, and awesome food! Great attendance by the Texarkana community & surrounding areas. BTW this was an event that took place @ the Four States Fairgrounds, not the annual fair. It was the 2026 Juneteenth Celebration. I personally enjoyed it, and will return if it is available in the future.”

“The slogan for Texarkana is Twice as Nice! It’s true, very friendly people and many hidden gems. One of them is The Gallery at 1894, in the converted Ritchie Grocer Company store downtown by the tracks. Many talented local artists display their craft here. Besides the art, the buildings interior and exterior architecture is fascinating as well-you can see the old safe, the chute from the upper floors, the 2nd floor space that is rentable for events and even a speakeasy (separate business) in the basement!”
