“Ozark Sportsman is the real deal. I took the Basic Handgun Orientation course with Jamie a few months ago and was immediately impressed with her knowledge and desire to help myself and the others in the class understand the material and the importance of it. She also made it interactive and fun.
I signed up for and just finished the Skill Builder Series - Class 1 with Jamie and it was great. She provided a lot a mix of instruction and asking us questions to make us get in tune with what was going wrong with our skills so we can fine tune and get better. I walked away with knowledge on how to continue to improve my accuracy and the necessary adjustments I should be considering along the way. She's really a wealth of information.
I was apprehensive about stepping foot inside a gun range, not feeling like I would fit in or be treated with respect. Ozark Sportsman has proven me wrong. Everyone has been extremely welcoming. I was impressed that David remembered my name after the first interaction and continues to call me by my name when I walk in the door. Jamie sold me my first handgun, and Darral sold me my second after I asked many questions. I never felt like they pushed a certain one on me, but instead let my questions guide me to the right one.
I've been to other shooting ranges in the area and taken courses, but I likely will not go back to them, as I did not feel welcome in the way I do at Ozark Sportsman. The staff is wonderful and willing to help out when you need them, they carry great products, and the courses they teach are top notch. I can't wait to try out the golf simulator and axe throwing at some point too.”
