2 weeks ago I went here. Never go to Fancy Nails in Van Buren AR., the last time I went after the new owner took over, it was an awful pedi but I went today because my daughter and granddaughter needed their nails done, so I got a Pedi thinking it would be better because it was a different nail tech, 🙄 wishful thinking 🤔 on my part, it was just as bad if not worse than last time. 😩 My toenails are so short they hurt 😢 I'm surprised they aren't bleeding they are so short. 😫 the polish looks awful, I’ve had a 2 year old do a better job at no charge! 🙄
And the place/shop hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long? 🫤
It smells more like a mothballs factory than a nail shop, 😷
If I get a toe infection I will know exactly where I got it. 😤😡

I’ve gone to the nail salon for over 17 years and unfortunately it’s under new ownership. I’ve let the new owner do my nails three times since and all three times, she was rude, hateful, and would jerk my hand. The nails do not last a full two weeks and she will charge in between that time if you have a nail come off. She also charges an extra five dollars if they’re long. And another five dollars if it’s more than one color. My 14 year-old daughter also got her nails done and paid for them herself. She was not happy either. They started chipping after three days. I have noticed much cheaper tips, poor quality and very expensive prices. My Mother also had a pedicure the same day and she said she would never go back because she felt like her toenails were going to bleed. They cut them so short. I’m going to attach a photo of what was supposed to be a fill TODAY. The owner did not fill in the “new growth” at all she only filled the ends that were chipped… so we do not expect these will last even a full week. We had a disagreement before we left because she wanted to charge my daughter after agreeing to fix her nails before we sat down. There are multiple bad reviews and I would save yourself the time and money! This was once the only place I would ever go… but now I will not go back.

I regret going to this salon! I’ve been letting my nails grow and I wanted to try this salon out, and first they put me with someone that is still learning on how to do nails, secondly he moved me with the girl that is there to fix them and she did them so thin that my nails are breaking so now my nails are broken the gel is coming off and she did them so uneven that I’m very not happy with their service.

The original owners made this a relaxing and comfortable salon. They were family! They treated all their customers with dignity and grace.
The salon has recently changed hands and sadly the service is lacking. I made an appointment but apparently that was forgotten. The salon has only 2 nail techs and if they are busy they turn clients away. Conversation between techs and clients are null due to the techs not speaking English the majority of the appointment.
My nails turned out great but the atmosphere is less than friendly. Also since parking is limited you would think the workers would park a bit further out to allow clients to have better access rather than right in front of the door

It was ok. Shellac didn't stay on but two days. So I went back here today hoping it was better. It was not they had to take it off again and redo. The shape was awful overlay was to thick. I asked numerous times to fix the cuticles and they didnt.

Absolutely horrible. Uneven, had to ask for the lady to actually straighten out the nails. Did not make full nails the same height. Bumpy. Will never return. Highly disappointing. Oh did I forget to mention asked for off white and got uneven color, did not glue nails on properly. Save your money and go to a salon who knows what they are doing. Unsanitary

Where to begin?! The lady I had was lazy. Did a poor job at removing gel polish, using the excuse that the new nail polish being painted over will cover it. On top of that, hardly pushed back my cuticles, hardly cleaned up the dead skin around the cuticles. When painting my nails, I had to ask her to fix a bunch of areas. Then I was called picky, when she barely did her job. On top of that, she commented before the service was over that if I ever came back, that she’d hide from me, but laughed. Aside from the unnecessary comments, you think I’m coming back when you did a bad job?! I wanted to get wax done too but with how much effort was put into my nails, there’s no way I’m giving more money to trust with hot wax.
