My experience with USA Truck Inc. has been extremely disappointing. I wasted an entire day trying to pick up a load, and the inefficiency and lack of communication from their team are unacceptable. This not only cost me time but also money. I strongly advise against doing business with them.

Booked a load with Samantha, she sent rate con with delivery appointment set at 12:30pm, she then sent another rate con with 14:45 delivery appointment and never asked if we received it or seen it, my driver got to delivery at 11am for his original 12:30apt, the receiver told us our appointment is at 4:30pm, after getting a hold of Samantha and telling her this, she told me she sent a new rate con and our appointment is at 14:45 we checked back in with that appointment number the receiver said nope it’s definitely at 4:30pm, so my driver ended up staying there all day until 9pm and she paid us a whopping $100 and said that’s what you get. Very unprofessional and show now respect for their drivers! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

If the recruiting has a nasty attitude, couldn’t imagine the rest of the company. They call you as if you are bothering them!

They are just THIEVES. I transported a load for USA Truck from Bolingbrook, IL to Baraboo, WI. Upon unloading, it turned out there was a fee for a lumper. No one at USA Truck answered the phone, and the broker I was working with didn't respond to emails. I was forced to pay from my own money. After completing the unloading, I sent the invoice, lumper receipt and signed bill of lading. Today, I received payment for the transported load, but of course, I didn't receive a refund for the lumper. They are just thieves. The accounting department doesn't answer calls, and the broker doesn't answer calls or respond to emails. I advise everyone not to work with this company. If you are an ethnic minority, you will be treated like garbage and ultimately robbed of your hard work

#6441 needs to learn directional flow of traffic in dock areas, to close his door while outside of the truck, so drivers don't have to wait on him before they can back into the dock. Wouldn't hurt to be refreshed on how to drop a trailer. 3 times he dragged the trailer 5' or more from the dock before he finally disconnected the 5th wheel.

The worst company to work with. After confirming the freight rate they took us off the load and offered that I can book it for cheaper. It seems they don't have any ethical requirements for their stuff too.

I wouldn’t recommend working for this company, my husband worked for them for 3 weeks and they didn’t pay him all his miles till the following check because they said it was due to the computer on the truck that it was behind 3 days, how is that his fault and not get paid for miles when he’s supposed to but gets paid late.

Well i can sit here and address this till im blue in the face but hopefully someone will see this i witnessed one your drivers watch a movie or some video while driving down the interstate your driver had his phone sitting right above the steering wheel where the speedometer is located i guess your driver is oblivious to the dot regulations and guidelines and fines but anyways truck #108 01/12/2023 @0400 i hope someone like safety can address this issue

Great company with great service. I’m working with a broker Joshua Smoak on a daily basis. He is very responsible and is always ready to help. I highly recommend his services. The best I have ever had the pleasure to work with him does it all soup to nuts.

Stacey Leatherwood - the worst broker I have ever worked with. He sent my driver to the shipper and took us off the load stating the shipper was closed for holiday when my driver already rolled over 30 miles. Basically, when you send the driver to PU location, and you cancel the load, there should be TONU issued to the carrier. That's how always trucking works. But he thinks that every carrier can be absued this way and breaking the rules. The worst part is he has a 16 years of experience which means he has been playing with carriers for that many years. SHAME ON YOU STACEY, and I do hope the karma will hit you harder! Guys never ever get the load from this joker broker!

I’ve been at USA for 3 years as an owner op. I used to love this company but ever since the buy out, it has gone downhill. They honestly don’t care about their drivers or ICs. We get ignored if we bring a problem to their attention. They feed their company drivers first and allow them to use the same load board as the owner op side so we have to compete and fight for good loads. The freight prices are cut, and they put the scraps on their load board which they in turn cut again. In the last week or 2, there is no customer freight but brokered freight only and it’s heavy. No way to make money with it! It’s terrible, but they don’t care because it’s like a revolving door. If they have 2 drivers leave, they’ll replace you the next week with the new orientation class. They only thing we ever hear is “we’ll see” or “we’ll take a look at your suggestion”, but nothing ever changes! They even took the safety bonus away after promising it to us! That is no way to treat your drivers! We are the ones who make this company! If not for us, this company wouldn’t exist! The only bright spot here is that I have a good dispatcher who tries to keep lines of communication open, but otherwise, if it weren’t for him, I’d probably be gone by now. My truck is paid off so I definitely have options!!

I was looking for a job, and I was still working, I was told I could make $35 an hour. I figured they were lying to me so I stayed where I was until I retired. After reading these reviews I'm glad I stayed where I was. After 44 years driving trucks I sure enough would not have put up with some of the things I have read about on here.
