Walnut Ridge, AR- Worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. I’ve continued to use them over the years supporting them and thinking it would get better each time. Rudest employees every time I go it’s always a problem. ALWAYS a problem.

We just came to Walmart just to pick up something from the pharmacy, they let us sit in line for like 5-10 minutes, then once we were next up in line. They randomly called out that they were going to go to lunch and that only the people getting serviced currently would get their prescriptions and the rest of us in line could come back after 2 o'clock. We waited in line for that long and then they told us to leave. I'm kinda shocked.

My mother is 57 years old and always uses Sexton's Pharmacy in Walnut Ridge. She has chronic back pain and on top of that has recently herniated a disc in her spine. She's been getting pain medication from our family physician until she can get an appointment with a back surgeon. The doctor told her to double up her dosage when the ruptured disc escalated. Therefore, she ran out of the pills one one day before she could get a new prescription. Our doctor prescribed FOUR pain pills to get her through the day she had none. Four. Sexton's was closed because it was after 5p when she got out of the appointment. Walmart pharmacy in Walnut Ridge told her "You should have enough pills already from the first prescription." Made her feel like they were accusing her of painkiller addiction and refused to give her FOUR pills. The doctor had faxed the prescription. She wasn't faking one. They didn't even ask for her ID to prove it's her faxed prescription. So now she has no medication for chronic pain or her herniated disc. Before this ridiculous facade, my grandmother was forced to pay $45 more for her pain medication at this Walmart versus Sexton's because they couldn't enter her Medicare information and therefore said she didn't have any. Every time my family has gone to this pharmacy because we couldn't access Sexton's we've had an issue. But the Walmart pharmacy on Highland in Jonesboro has always operated well. I won't make my mother go to that one again, we'll be driving to Jonesboro.

This Walmart pharmacy has a policy now if you don't get "ALL" of your medicine from them they won't fill any for you. How childish & stupid is that. Everybody in this pharmacy is very rude and smart mouthed!...What has happened to Walmart!

Absolutely worst pharmacy I have ever been too. They always give me a hard time over meds final straw was last visit when I was told that I had to get all my meds at that Walmart pharmacy because if I went to a different Walmart again they would no longer fill my scripts it was Walmart policy. Well guess what no issue here and I will be filing a complaint your not a Dr giving scripts ur job is to fill them not decide if u should be on a script or not

I wish I could rate them 0 stars. Rudest people I have ever met. They are unorganized, slow, and very rude! They are not helpful even when we show them kindness. 10/10 would not recommend using this pharmacy.

This Wal-Mart all together is the worse Wal-Mart there is. 99% of the employees have no idea what they are doing. If you have a question on the gift cards forget it the have no clue how to answer it. Electronics same thing if you ask a question on mainly the phones they can not answer it. The pharmacy is a joke they are so slow. No matter if your doctor calls it in at 10 the morning and you go at 2 in the afternoon they still will not have it ready so you have yo wait 30 or more monies for them to get ready. I will drive to the Ashflat or Jonesboro Wal-Mart before I come back to this one.

Good hours and rarely is anything out of stock. I dislike having to get out and go inside.
