Checking into the Ramada Inn in West Memphis is like booking a weekend getaway inside a Fallout vault—except here, the radiation is swapped out for mildew and despair.
The “air conditioning” is less a cooling system and more a humidifier that’s given up on its dreams. The entire place feels damp, as if the walls themselves are sweating out regret. Fixtures are rusted into avant-garde art installations, while the mold colonies have unionized and are clearly winning. The TV is technically present but functions more like a museum artifact—a relic from an ancient era when things in this building used to work.
Of course, it’s not all bad. The elevator works, which feels like a miracle on par with water into wine. And the parking? Plentiful! Though that might have something to do with the eerie lack of other guests brave—or desperate—enough to stay here.
To call this a hotel is generous; it’s more like a FEMA training site for how not to rebuild civilization. If the goal was “immersive post-apocalyptic chic,” then congratulations: five stars. But since I was looking for an actual hotel, I’ll settle for one star—only because Google doesn’t let me give it negative stars.

This facility looks like it has not been renovated in 20 years. The AC in the room barely blew cool enough.
Apparently the stuff that prepared breakfast did not prepare enough as we had to wait for the hot foods.
Front desk people were great to interact with.

Bath faucet broken. We had been driving for hours & were Too tired to pack everything back up & change rooms.
In the morning we realized that the coffee maker wouldn’t work.
We tried to fix our hair blow dryer, and then we realized that none of them worked at the bathroom. I tried to move over to a big mirror living room and didn’t work either. So we sat over in the corner with a little mirror that we brought with us and trying to fix her hair. We were so disappointed that we just to without breakfast.

If you like bed bugs & the smell of roaches and looking for somewhere old and outdated this is the place to go. I would sleep in my car before I ever sleep here again. I’m not sure how they don’t have health violations this place is pure filth. Check your bags and clothes and make sure you not bringing critters home!

Good hotel if you just need some where to sleep. However bathroom lock didn't work, and shower didn't work at all. Rooms could use a bit more polish in cleasiness. Also I found a 1 bug on a bed but it might of been an ant or something

If I could give this place zero stars I would do so in a heartbeat. The rooms are disgusting, rust covers every metal surface, not sure if they’ve ever been cleaned and if they have it was done very poorly. The air conditioner mists onto the bed closest to it which makes it impossible to sleep in that bed. The toilet doesn’t flush well and they didn’t even bother to put out new toilet paper. The whole room is coated in a layer of dirt and we all left with stuffy noses that we did not show up with. It’s musty and smells like urine. I would not recommend this place to anyone who enjoys getting what they paid for out of a room, which even at the cheapest option should be a bed not covered in water.

Would not stay here again . Poor maintenance. Rooms need to be cleaner and updated. Price was good but I guess you get what you pay for .

I would not recommend this place. We had to switch rooms 3 times. The first room was because the TV did not work. The second one reeked of smoke smells and marijuana. The third one’s AC did not work. The third room also smells like animals which was very annoying. The rooms are dirty and very patchy. The only upsides were the location near memphis and the service was okay. Don’t come here!!
