Don't live in the area, had to make an emergency stop because my previous mechanic neglected to put any of the screws back onto my wheel fender and it was getting caught on the tire.
The man at the counter immediately came out to look, then put screws in for me, cut a damaged flap off, and refused any kind of payment when I offered.

John and staff were amazing and fast during my unfortunate break down coming through town. John was patient, reasonable and made sure my vehicle was safe to get back on the road. Highly recommend!!!!

My Mom took her vehicle to John Hodges Auto Care to repair a valve cover oil leak, and it leaves with a check engine light and a misfire. She's taking it back in Monday; very curious how the shop handles this. I'll update my review accordingly.

Went in to get a front drive axel replaced on my van and he had it done within four hours. Know I understand that it would've been longer had the parts not been in stock but to drop it off at 8am and pick it up at noon is amazing. Also about three hundred cheaper than I expected to pay.

He was so patient kind and honest! Took my car for some breaks and then asked about a weird thing my car was doing at a certain speed, suggested a transmission service and I asked if he could do it, he did it and the price was very reasonable. He flat out told me he's not 100 it would fix my problem but very confident, I notice a slight difference right away! So I hope it fixes my issue! Thanks again!

John has worked on several of my vehicles. I believe he has done an exceptional job on each project. I did not feel I was over charged. He is is a nice guy and runs a great shop. He worked on my F150 and my motor home.

On our way back from vacation my alternator went out not far from Hodges auto. Was traveling with two young kids and a dog from Hot Springs to New Orleans. Still had a long way to go. Jerry at Hodges auto found me at the Exxon station and asked if I needed some help. He saved my families vacation. Within 1.5 hours he had my truck in his shop, diagnosed, part delivered and installed and on my way. That kind of service does not exist anymore. Anywhere else and I would have had to spend another night away from home. The part was pricey but the labor was on point. Regardless Jerry got me on the road very quickly. Next time I head back up to Hot Springs I intend to bring Jerry a gift for saving the day!
