I had a terrible experience with drive European the owner came out yelling at me for parking in the Wrong parking spot, And was very unkind with his choice of words, instead of simply explaining To me, in a calm, kind manner that the dealership had gotten me to park in the wrong spot. Very bad approach I Would never want to deal with Someone with a temper like this, working on my vehicle. Being nice gets you a long way being rude gets you bad reviews

If I could give this establishment NEGATIVE stars I would.
I have owned 5 BMW's and currently own 3. I work on all my own vehicles and have extensive experience with cars as I have my own shop and have worked on cars since I was 16 (I am 50).
When I bought my latest (BMW X3) it came with a 6 month Lubrico warranty. My BMW X3 was making a whining sound and since I had this warranty I chose to utilize it and I found out that Drive European was an "approved" location. I wasn't entirely sure what the sound was coming from but it sounded like it was possibly the transmission or something on the engine as it changed pitch when the engine RPM increased. I took it to Drive European and spoke with the owner. He initially came across as friendly and helpful. When I expressed my concerns and what my thoughts were he asked me to lift the hood. I did so and he then said he could not hear anything. I told him it was more audible inside the car. He was reluctant to get in but I eventually convinced him to get in and close the door. After approximately a minute of me revving the engine up and down he admitted to hearing it as well. He then reached over and turned the heater fan off (which turns the WHOLE AC and Climate Control off, disabling the clutch on the AC compressor) and lo and behold the sound stopped! He proceeded to tell me it was a faulty heater fan and that it most likely needed to be replaced. I felt unsure about this as why would the pitch change as the RPM's increased and I said to him that maybe it was the AC compressor as that would certainly stop when you turn off the climate control. He told me that it doesn't work that way and that HE knew as he was the professional and it was indeed the fan motor.
I said I would go home and consult with Lubrico and see if the fan motor was covered under the warranty.
Once I got home I decided to explore this a little more with this new found knowledge. I sat in my driveway with the card idling and for no less than 10 minutes, left the fan motor on but turned the AC off and on with the switch on the dash. The noise would come and go respectively, confirming to me that it WAS NOT the fan motor (as it was still running) but the AC compressor making the noise.
I called Drive European back and tried to explain my situation again with the new information to which he proceeded to berate me and laugh at me telling me that I should become a mechanic and how dare I tell HIM, THE PROFESSIONAL, what it might be. I told him I would try somewhere else and he proceeded to laugh at me more.
I then called Valley Eurotec.
I told them my thoughts, they DID NOT laugh at me and they said to bring it by and they would take a look at it.
After 30 minutes, they confirmed with me that it was in FACT the AC compressor and the refrigerant charge was low and that it would cause the whine I was hearing. They recharged my AC and the sound went away.

Have been taking my vehicle there for a couple years now for maintenance, seems to be the the only place in Abbotsford that works on Italian vehicles. Always fast, friendly and quality service. Would highly recommend.

They missed the issue. After 3000$ Paid they missed the $250 issue. I had to take it to another auto mechanic and they had more experience and fixed it right away for under $300. If it wasn't for the $3000 -bill I would have said nothing and the little things like my door lock and interior lights didn't even get done. They replaced stuff they did not need to. I was pissed.

Please avoid this place if you don’t wanna be ripped off, I came here for a grille swap and he had a estimated time for an hour to do the job, we even showed him the new grille and wanted to be sure he’s able to do it. We then agreed on amount for the hour job, 2 hours passed by and we decided to just drive by the shop and see what is going on, we witnessed him taking a long break in his office eating lunch, and dealing with other customers, we decided to go in and he said “I’m not done yet I’ll give you a call when I’m done” (Even though it’s been way over the time we agreed on). Finally when 3 hours passed by we saw him pulling the vehicle out when he saw us waiting in the parking lot when the job was done hours ago. When we asked “How much will you charge us?” His rude and arrogant reply was “As much as I can!” That is absolutely terrible customer service, he then proceeded to charge us for 3 hours saying “It’s a big job” when we agreed for an hour job. He wasted time and extends the length time for the job just to get as much money as he can from people. On top of all this the grille wasn’t even properly fitted, he even ADMITTED that the grille fitment didn’t go 100% and he didn’t bother to even call us to let us know when he knew about it, he only admitted when we pointed it out. Absolutely garbage quality of a job, terrible customer service, and extremely rude. He also has no employees at all?? Makes sense who would want to work for someone like that. Avoid this place at all costs.NOTE TO DONALD/OWNERThere’s no point in replying to this review with every other bad review you have with “Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will use the feedback to make us better and to ensure this doesn’t happen again.” Clearly you have not used any of the feedback provided to you, as there has been no improvement in your terrible attitude and terrible service.Service: Body & Trim

I definitely recommend avoiding this place. Oil has been leaking from one of our vehicles and we already had the issue diagnosed by our mechanic, but we needed to find someone who would be able to do the repair. We called this place and explained the issue and the owner told us we could drop it off the next day so he could take a look. He never quoted us for how much this diagnosis would cost, but rather made it seem that he just needed to look at the car to know what was wrong. We ended up bringing the vehicle in and we specifically mentioned to the employee that was there to make sure they called us before they did any work that would cost us because we wanted to know beforehand. Later in the day, we called the owner to see if we could pick up the vehicle and he said yes and explained that he couldn’t figure out what the problem was, all he did was wash the bottom of the vehicle and told us to drive the car around for another week and then he could tell us what was going on. Then he mentioned that we owed him $300 for this. We didn’t understand what work he had done to charge us $300. He then told us that if we didn’t pay we wouldn’t be getting our car back. When we showed up to the shop, wanting to have a discussion with him about this, the employees there had to FaceTime him and he proceed to argue with us over FaceTime. Obviously we understand that these services cost money, but he never mentioned anything beforehand and $300 seems quite excessive when no actual service was done.

Bad shop . My friend dropped his car for service. He charged too much and didn't fix the issue. He scammed my friend $2700
