“Iron cycle is an amazing environment!! As someone who is scared of going to gyms, I have felt nothing but welcomed, encouraged and comfortable in this studio! All of the instructors and staff are lovely people who truly love their jobs and leave you feeling empowered and capable! One of my favourite parts about Iron Cycle is that they also offer wellness services. I have been seeing RMT Jas for almost a year now and she has been incredible! I have had many other RMT’s before but Jas truly knocks it out of the park, and I couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else. Her attention to detail and all of the unique techniques she uses have changed the game for me. She is always checking in to see how you’re feeling and is more than willing to adjust pressure or techniques. I always leave my appointments feeling refreshed and less in pain. She is always learning and adding onto her skill sets. Bonus if you do the hot stone massage… amazing!”

“I’ve had the privilege of seeing my big brother, Austin Batra, grow from a passionate fighter into a true professional athlete and business owner. His company Batfitss isn’t just about workouts — it’s about transforming lives. Austin brings the same discipline he uses in the cage into his training programs, and the results speak for themselves”

“I’ve been attending Movement Society(Formerly CrossFit Abbotsford) since about 2015 when my strong daughter said she wasn’t going to be doing ballet anymore and wanted to try CrossFit and would pay my foundations class if I tried. I’ve been going regularly almost since and I still attend with my daughter and her husband. This is a community of multi-leveled athletes who encourage each other to be our healthiest version of ourselves not only in fitness but in side discussions about healthy eating. I have been to other CrossFit establishments in Canada and the U.S. and have been pleased to see consistent teaching ( and even noticed On occasion that my teaching was superior)! As an older athlete I love that I am never made to feel that anyone is a better athlete than me(even though there are different skill levels), instead I’m encouraged to be a better athlete than I was yesterday. The coaches are knowledgable , and are athletes themselves and care about their athletes!”

“I think this is a great place for women to workout! Affordable and clean, However I do wish there was more space/options available. There is no assisted pull up machine in the women’s section and only two stair masters.”

“I’ve had a great experience at this gym. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and approachable. During my transition of moving from another city, I was still paying for a membership at my old gym, and I really appreciated having the option to freeze my GoodLife membership for weeks or even months for less, if I wasn’t working in Abbotsford. They also offer corporate discounts for employees working within the health authorities, which is a nice bonus. The gym is consistently clean, and the equipment is well maintained and always in good working order. I even accidentally left my protein shaker bottle and a pair of flip-flops in the women’s change room for several days, and they were still there when I came back. That speaks highly of both the staff and the members. One of my favourite features is the women’s-only section on the upper floor. Even during busy times, I’ve found it easy to access the equipment I need without long waits. Richard, the manager, and the rest of the team have always been helpful whenever I’ve had questions. Overall, I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to improve their fitness in a clean, welcoming, and well-managed environment.”

“Nice facility and very kind n helpful staff. I started going there not a long ago, the trainer is an awesome guy. I have my own challenges to work out along with so many people so circuit training is my go to place. I never have seen pepl having any issues at all in circuit training. Almost everybody communicates to one another and it runs pretty smoothly cuz everybody needs little bit more time to do their reps. Lights are pretty quick though, but again, that’s the whole point of circuit training- But in my whole time working out there, I have never seen anyone following lights at all. People definitely keep moving, neither have I seen anyone standing or waiting for the next person to leave. People politely ask each other n everyone respects everyone so they either leave immediately or just request for a few more reps. And there are always machines available cuz not every machine is busy and pepl go to the other one, no big deal. But again there are 2-3 people who go n complain all the time. Yesterday, the same one showed up, I knew that she is on the machine after me so as the light changed, I quickly left the equipment, n asked her “let me clean it for u”, otherwise, she woulda almost run over me. She goes, “No, no, I am not done with this (her equipment) yet”, and kept doing her cardio and coming back and forth on the same machine 3 times. I thought today she is chill, lol, but to my surprise as the staff showed up to observe. She started following the Light Clock quickly, n it gets hard for some people like me to do that kinda smart stuff. So the staff comes directly to me and even when I tried telling her that I know the rules, n I m moving, she goes “No, u are the only one who didn’t leave the equipment when the light turned red”, Yes, she is right but it confused me because I literally have never seen anyone following the Light Clock at all, n I didn’t even know how to argue with the staff over the rules, lol. All I tried telling her that people move when they are done but at the same time, everyone needs a while to do their exercise. So people are generally fine even without following the lights. I’ve been thinking since yesterday what’s wrong with people? A person usually would go to the gym to relax after a long day at work and looking at their phone here n there while working out, letting them to work out stressed free, should be pretty normal, and then some toxic pepl would show up there too to mess up people’s day. Endless whining n complaining, for what?”
