I came back here after 2 years. The experience has definitely gone down. I asked for an acrylic removal and then shellac. The process of prying off my acrylic nails was painful. My original nails were damaged. I expected more, I even told the girl to soak and drill off the acrylics but she refused.

Just had the best experience at House of Polish ! Lilly did an amazing job. The vibe was super chill, and the staff made me feel right at home. I got a manicure and my nails have never looked better. Lilly really took her time and pay attention to detail. If you’re looking for a place that nails both service and results, this is it!

I’m really disappointed to have to make this review as I’ve been a long time customer of House of Polish. Unfortunately the service I recently got was 1 star. I booked a shellac mani/pedi which is typically what I get. The application was sloppy and the shellac was applied onto my skin which is now lifting after 3 days. I also got the added chrome by recommendation of the person who did my nails, it has since started rubbing off. I came in to get my nails done for an upcoming wedding and I’m super disappointed that they didn’t even last until the first event of the wedding. The mani service also felt very rushed which is maybe why my nails turned out the way they did. But I’d expect my nails to last longer than 3 days especially after paying $115 before tip.. I’ve never experienced shellac lift before the 2 sometimes 3 week mark in all my years of getting shellac done.

Have been going here a few months, after seeing some negative reviews for this place I would like to say that those reviews are unfair. I get an acrylic fill with shellac almost every time I go, with tip that comes out to about $60 so idk where people are pulling that $70 number from.
The techs have never made me feel judged, they’re not rude, they accept that I’m not much of a talker and am content to watch them work. I have had multiple different nail techs do a wonderful job, and all of them have been more than willing to work with/around my hand tremors.
A special comment on “Apple,” she’s amazingly kind and welcoming.
Their dog Sugar is a hypoallergenic breed and she is well trained, she’s always well groomed.
I’ve only had a nail break once in the 6 months since I’ve been getting my nails done here

Looks like got it done from someone who doesn’t even have one month experience. I don’t wanna to mention the name of this lady 😮💨
They charged me $73. Literally wasted my money. Very disappointed 😔

I dont normally write reviews but after reading some of the other negatice comments i want to share my great experience for a shellac pedi. The young nail tech was the sweetest most considerate technician i have had outside a spa. She made me feel very comfortable and did an amazing job. The dog, Sugar, is also very sweet. Prices are aligned with other salons. I will be reuring to this one.

5 days of wear and my nails were breaking in HALF and chipping. Came in to repair them and change the polish since it was bubbling and ready to chip or fully chipped off. They try to charge me for a polish change… babe I spent 70$ on a FILL.. why would I give you any more money on poor work with poor quality product? Photos attached of the work I left with today. Very disappointed. Bumpy uneven nails and you wanna charge me MORE?

Great place and good service but I feel bad for the little dog who has to sit in there all day long inhaling fumes. They have a heightened sense of smell and you are going to make it sick.

First time here today and very impressed! Nail tech was fast and very gentle considering I have a permanent hand injury. Will definitely be back in the future. So happy with my nails.

This is my go-to nail salon in Abbotsford now. My nails always last for weeks before chipping and the technicians always do great work and are very friendly.

I went with my younger cousin and her two friends to get our nails done together but we weren’t able to sit beside each other, (I’m referring to the nail techs as the nail ladies because I don’t know their names) after our nails were finished she was telling me how the nail lady that did her nails kept slapping her hand because she was moving but she said she was being as still as she could. My nails took a bit longer then hers so when the lady doing her nails came over to talk to the lady doing mine they were talking bad about my cousin and her friends right in front of me! My cousin was explaining to the nail tech that she didn’t want flowers on her nails but put them anyways, they did a horrible job on her nails, like if you can’t do something from a reference picture just say it or get somebody who can.

I am not impressed with their service. The team has an attitude to serve their job. The nail polish got chipped next day, and went back to fix it. The job wasn't satisfactory.
