whats with only having one person at cash who takes their damn time with customers while not even acknowledging theres a line up of 5 others. It doesn’t make sense and absolutely time consuming for no reason.

I wish they have something for negative star. We went to store yesterday jan4 evening around 6ish. It was me my mom and my 3 years old, kids can be bit too much thats why i prefer to take my daughter in stroller. There was this employee, i think she was the manager or something because she was giving orders to every other employee was very rude to my 60 years old mom. We were in ladies clothing, my mom put two sweaters on the rack just to find difference because they both from PUMA, that manager was trying to tell us indirectly by talking to other co worker that they do have fitting room as we don’t know lol. I find her attitude towards my mom was very very rude and racist. I wish marshall can do something about it.

I normally love shopping here but so much merchandise had been tampered with and opened by customers, not the workers faults, but would be nice to shop somewhere where boxes aren’t opened and left there.

We have been loyal customers of Marshalls for nearly 9 years and have always enjoyed shopping there.
However, our recent visit to the Marshalls store in Abbotsford was extremely disappointing.
One of the store supervisors displayed very unprofessional and rude behavior, especially when we requested a return. Their attitude was not only unfriendly but outright disrespectful. This behavior does not align with the customer service standards we have come to expect from Marshalls
I hope the store management takes this issue seriously and ensures necessary steps are taken to improve staff conduct. As long-time customers, we expect respect and professionalism to remain a top priority in the services provided by this store.

Marshall is a good outlet store to shop. Sometimes would find good gifts for friends and family for birthdays and Christmas. The holiday decor they sell is very eye-catching too.

Very messy in clothing areas & the bathroom was very dirty. No hand soap & toilet paper...floors were filthy.

If I could put NEGATIVE STAR, I WOULD. And here’s why:
My sister and nephew had a deeply upsetting experience at this store. The staff member was being rude to them. I am shocked by how unprofessional and discriminatory the interaction was. It made them feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and they decided to leave the store immediately. I understand the floor was messy when the staff saw them, but she has to be aware that IT WASN’T my nephew WHO DID THAT. IT WAS ALREADY UNTIDY WHEN THEY GOT THERE. Anyhow, even if it was them, They shouldn’t be treated that way. NOR ANY CHILD . NO one should ever experience racism while simply trying to shop. I hope management takes this seriously and works to address the situation, including ensuring their staff undergoes proper diversity and customer service training.

I am deeply disappointed by the racist behavior displayed by a staff member during our visit today. My nephew, who is 2, was treated unfairly and subjected to disrespectful comments from one their employees.
During our visit, my nephew was excited to explore and interact with the toys in the store. He is a young child who, like any other child, was simply engaging with the items on display. However, one of their staff members approached him and, rather than offering friendly guidance or explaining store policies in a professional manner, told him that the toys were “for sale, not to be played with.”
At first, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding, but the tone and manner in which it was said were dismissive and condescending. What made this even more troubling was that, while my nephew was politely engaging with the toys, I noticed that other children—who were of different racial backgrounds—were allowed to play freely without any issues.
Racism has no place in any environment, especially when it involves a child. I expect better from a place that should be fostering inclusivity and kindness. This incident has left a lasting negative impression.
I hope the management take this matter seriously and address it immediately.
