Their sales tactics are so transparent it's awkward. Sales person kept saying he was 'taking money off the price' but in reality he was just removing upsells (like tire packages) I never asked for or wanted. Removing charges you tacked on without telling someone is not reducing the price of the vehicle, nor is it increasing the value of my trade in.
It is however insulting to try and trick people like that, and play dumb when called out on it. Or at least I hope they were playing...
Either way, does not instill confidence in dropping $50k here. Honestly (and surprisingly) had much better service with used lots in Surrey.

I've been looking for a used Rav4 for several months, and I noticed that they have some certified used cars that look quite attractive.
When I visited this place I'm like just curious about a certify used Rav4 they listed on Autotrader. The sales manager assigned Garrett to help me and I find he is very helpful during my first visit. He answered all of my questions, and finally I decided to take a test drive. In fact it was 2 test drives that day because I am very picky and I can't afford to buy a car that I don't trust.
The delivery process is very smooth too. They even assigned a technician Derek to help me go through all the functions of this Rav4.
It's been for 3 weeks now, and I'm still very excited every time I drive my Rav4. ???

Disappointed and frustrated is an understatement.
To begin, my sales experience was good. Brandon was an exemplary salesman who clearly worked hard to make me happy. This review is not a reflection of the sales or financing teams.
Three weeks after purchasing my RAV4 I noticed the doors were filling with water and not draining. I promptly made an appointment with the service department who confirmed that the doors were improperly sealed and not allowing water to drain out. The service advisor said she would inquire with sales to see if the cost of this repair would be covered - since I bought the vehicle less than a month earlier. She was supposed to get back to me with an answer. I never received a call. I have since called and left several messages relative to this issue, numerous times. Each time being assured that someone would get back to me. I am at a loss for how to proceed. We live in the rainiest region in the country and I am consistently having to drain my doors. Best part of this is I’m stuck with a defunct vehicle for 7 more years!
Disappointed that the service department was single-handedly able to bring down what was began as a pleasant and positive buying experience. Getting into a new vehicle should be exciting and this has turned into a major burden instead.

Got a car from open road toyota Abbotsford. Car has some noise issue , they kept car for a week and still cannot find the issue. Very bad experience dealing with them.

On August 8, 2024 I had an appointment with OpenRoad. They reviewed the fuse, then looked at the liner in my 2024 Tacoma, and it was noted to be warping. The rep said he would order a new one after looking at another Taco and confirming it was not suppose to be doing that. I left the appointment with an extra fuse, and got a call from OpenRoad asking why I missed the appointment. I mentioned that the rep was ordering parts for me. On Sept 18 I called back and was told a message would be left for the rep. Today I called and was told nothing was ordered. I won't deal with this group again.

Reception girl wont even let me speak to sales person. She said its their policy that i will have to speak to same salesperson i spoke to before even though i didnt remember if i had called before. Otherwise, she can not lat me speak to anyone else.

We have a brand new 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Hybrid. Right away it was having transmission issues, we took it to this dealership and they said there was nothing wrong. We took it to another dealership and they said the skid plate was loose, which this Abbotsford location left it loose after doing an oil change. They couldn’t even figure out the skid plate was loose. This of course did not solve the transmission problem. We brought our truck to the Vancouver Toyota service 5 months later because the transmission blew. We are now getting a brand new vehicle because of this. Had we listened to the advice of this Abbotsford location we would be screwed with a broken truck.
We also have a brand new 2024 Prius, again it’s making noises it shouldn’t be making. We gave this dealership another chance and they just told us it’s the brake pads. Which it isn’t.
This location will waste your time and misdiagnosis your vehicle. Screw up after screw up with these guys.
I would leave a 0 star if I could.
Super unhappy with the service and the answers given by the employees and management here.

Booked an appointment more than a week ago to install new winter tires and heat block to my Tundra 2024, and while booking i asked about the ETA of the parts in the tome of booking and i was told it will take 1-2 days max . So i booked the appointment. And less than a day , ive got a call and i was told can we reschedule the appointment as one of the parts is being delayed. I have arranged all my schedule to drop off my car on this day and hey they called to ask me to book another appointment as someone didnt do his job properly! Well all they did is they lost a customer and alot of business!

Huge shout out to Garrett, found a truck here and Garrett was super cool, relaxed and professional! No pressure, just a down to earth dude that answered all my questions, (even when he was on vacation) and just focused on what I wanted and not try to steer me in another direction.
Another big shout out to Helen, the finance lady, so professional, so courteous. I had an issue with the bank that financed my vehicle and she was prompt with emails and getting the issue sorted out.

So I bought my car and Abbotsford one year ago and I bought a lot of accessories with it along with the front and back camera. I tried to contact them a lot but they never called me to fix my camera. I paid about $800 for the camera and I want it fixed, we never got the app for the camera even when we requested so much please look into it and instead of replying to this review to contact the management. I’ve been trying to contact them since one now it’s your duty to call me and fix my camera because I paid $800.

We didn't end up buying a car yet from here but did appreciate the time taken to help us. Open and honest. Our biggest disappointment was with the trade in offer we received which seemed very much like a kick ? in the head as it was ridiculously low.

Had an unpleasant experience here. On arrival we were greeted by a salesman whose breath smelled like alcohol (it was only 11 am). He was a terrible listener and tried to convince us to get a car that we didn't want. He even told us to go to Honda first because he was "busy" for 15 minutes. We insisted on a test drive for the Rav4 (which is what brought us here in the first place), to which he begrudgingly agreed. He tagged along and then proceeded to blab on his phone the entire time in the backseat. I guess it was happy hour. Afterwards, we asked for pricing and he told us to go home and do it ourselves online. We won't be buying our next car here.

We had the pleasure of working with the wonderful sales team at Toyota Abbotsford when purchasing our vehicle for our family. Of particular notice, Helen Nguyen was fantastic! She ensured that all of our questions were answered in detail and made sure that we were satisfied the entire time. She did not use pushy sales tactics.
