PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG / CAT HERE
I was told my puppy was being aggressive minutes after i left the store. This puppy has never shown any sign of aggression. These people are clearly hiding something on their end.
The groomers were rude and HURT my puppy. When i reached the store i was told to pay first then ONLY i get to see my dog.
I asked for the manager who initially acted concerned and told me she will talk to senior department. She comes back and starts to yell at me “Ive called security you need to leave”. I only asked if there will be action taken against mishandling a puppy in the salon.
My puppy is scared, and has a cut on his paw. He was clearly mishandled.
NEVER GOING BACK HERE. Reported to animal control.

I had an absolutely horrifying experience at this PetSmart location. The staff called me during my dog’s grooming, claiming he was being aggressive and unsafe. This behavior is completely out of character for my dog, so I rushed back, concerned. Upon arrival, they refused to let me see him or return him to me without payment, which felt manipulative and wrong.
When I finally got my dog back, I was devastated. His grooming was poorly done, and he had rashes and cuts, including a noticeable cut under his lip. Worse, he now flinches when I try to pet him, which he’s never done before. It’s clear the groomer had hit my dog, and my dog’s current fear and distress is noticeable. He has had diarrhea since I got him back. He cannot handle treats, very specific ones and I mentioned it to the groomer but looks like she gave him regular treats and the worse part is they won’t tell me what was it that was given to my pet.
when I questioned the staff about what happened, they escalated the situation by calling security on me and asking me to leave. I was harassed and humiliated while simply trying to protect my dog and understand what had happened.
This location completely failed in their responsibility to care for my pet. Their lack of compassion, professionalism, and transparency is shocking. I strongly advise anyone who cares about their pets to avoid this place at all costs.

Do NOT take your dog here to get a haircut, especially if there is a “promo”.
TLDR: $140 for no bath, a poor haircut, safety concerns, poor service and no free gift. Save yourself the trouble and do a better job yourself.
We have been taking our dog to this store for years and after our favorite groomer left it has gone downhill. This last appointment was the final straw.
1) after making an appointment we had called to change the time and whoever took our call and confirmed with us never actually changed the time. Therefore we had to reschedule for a different time later in the week.
2) our senior dog has clipper tumors so as per petsmart policy they refuse to bath him. We are asked to bath him before bringing him in, which we did. (Costs us $20 at bosleys). When our dog was dropped off they mentioned they were going to bath him. We corrected the employee that he is not to get bathed. Cue 3 hours later when they charge us $140 (it’s usually under $100 for a cut with no bath). We asked why it was so much and they tell us “to do the bath, cut, nail grind, etc…” We mention to the grooming manager (who was the one that did the cut) that he wasn’t to be bathed. For which they back pedaled and said they didn’t, however they didn’t adjust the price.
3) for someone who is the manager of the grooming center you would hope that they would be competent enough to provide a good haircut. My poor dog was shaved so unevenly that I could have done it better. It’s patchy and there are long hairs everywhere. As said above he has a few clipper tumors that were pointed out ahead of time. The length of the shave was also discussed ahead of time that it wasn’t to be too short. My dog was shaved DOWN to the SKIN right between his eyes, patches on his chest and neck. These happen to be very VERY close to the clipper tumors. This concerns me as they could have easily been nicked or now being so short in that area my dog is constantly scratching at them. This is a safety concern as it increases the risk of bleeding and infection.
4) we clearly stated that if his ears and tail could not be brushed free of matts then they could shave them. Here we are still with matts in his tail and ears like they weren’t even touched.
5) his feet barely look trimmed with long “grinch toes” as I call them. because he is a senior it’s important that he has clean pads with little hair around so he doesn’t slip on our floors.
6) the reason we had booked at this time was they had a “doodle week” going on for grooming. With the grooming we were to receive a small “free gift”. At the time of pick up we received no gift and had to return later to pick it up.
My family understands that this is a busy location and with an event occurring that it’s can be stressful for staff. However to charge $140 for no bath, a terrible shave, safety concerns and poor service is ultimately criminal for my senior parents.
Save your pets, money and sanity and consider a private groomer instead.

The staff is super fun and chill. All of them are very helpful and super friendly. They also have fun amongst each other as well which clearly shows how loving and non-toxic environment is it for them to work there.

I bought a pet Canary for my autistic nephew who wanted it hand tamed. At time of purchase I was told the canary was 3 months old. After a few weeks a family friend looked at the bird and noticed the leg band stating the year of birth (2019). The bird is 5 years old and I was told 3 months old. Customer service was no help even though it was less than a month that I bought the bird. It's hard to trust this place now. Can't believe they'd lie about a pets age!

Except Meghan from the grooming service, I am pretty sure all staff hit the dogs there.
Never ever going to drop my dog anymore. His behavior always changes if someone else grooms him.
And after this review they have BANNED my pet.
Ban yourself from doing grooming services .

Brought our golden retriever in a couple of days ago for a full groom and when I picked her up they said they shaved her armpits as she had some mats, which is fine, but when we got home and looked her over she had a cut on her armpit that was bleeding where they had shaved.
In addition to that she looks like she has a Mohawk all the way down her back and has random hairs sticking out everywhere, including her paws that clearly didn’t get trimmed.
That’s 5 hrs and $140 I’ll never get back.
Please think twice before you decide to take your fur babies there. Never going back.
