Inefficient services, appeared that someone was loudly discussing credit card options for half an hour at a teller, rather than diverting them to book an appointment. This contributed to the wait in line being over 30minutes. When I reached the teller, they said they would transfer my funds and when I checked later that day, it had not been done.

They could clearly care less about customer service / satisfaction. There are multiple comments in the google reviews talking about how long the lines are at this location and they continue to not fix this problem. Im currently writing this while in line (been in line for 15 minutes now, still not at front of line.) and they have no proper seating for elderly / disabled customers to sit while waiting in their atrocious line up. the only spot they have to sit in line, is 2 chairs right at the end of the line… but by the time you get to them, it is almost your turn to go up AND you’ve already waited 20+ minutes standing. cant stand this location.

Absolutely the worst teller I have come across. After meeting the manager I see where the problem starts. We are moving our banking elsewhere. Zero concept of customer service. Always a line up because the women don't care. Retired on the job and no manager that does anything. Slow is an understatement.

Time to get rid of the Covid barriers Vancity!! You have to speak louder to talk to tellers and when they ask your verbal passcode everyone beside you and line hears it.

I was referred to this bank from another business owner. Everything sounded great, but you soon realize that because they are not a large bank, they can't afford to have an app for their credit cards, nor can you link the business visa to the business bank account because the option doesn't exist. It only exists for personal accounts at Van City, not business accounts (You know, because that makes so much sense). It has been a very stressful and time consuming experience at Van City and I do not recommend this bank to any other business owners!

UPDATE - after 3 calls to and from the bank -my credit score was restored. I will stay with the bank. Follow through is so important and they delivered. It was very inconvenient but in the end, this issue was resolved.
Been with this bank for 20 years perfect history of payments. Dinged my credit over 77 cents of interest charged after I paid
Off the small balance my line of credit. They will not reverse. Bad business. The response to this review makes no sense. I am not upset about being charged fees or interest. I am upset because vancity charged 77 cents of interest after I paid the balance and did not notify me and then proceeded to report a delinquent missed payment to the credit bureau and tarnish my perfect credit for the 77 cents. And you say call? I was on the phone with 3 people today who basically said sorry we cant do anything. Not sure what you think calling again will do. I think a courtesy call for people like me would be nice especially vancity wants to ruin credit over 77 cents. If you want a bank thst does not care about the repercussions of thier indiscretion and lack of consideration for hard work in maintaining a perfect credit score....bank with vancity lol.

Sharlene at the Vancity South Fraser location in Abbotsford is phenomenal. I’ve been banking with Vancity for 10 years and the past couple years she has been so helpful. She genuinely cares about and takes the time to establish and build relationships with her clients.Even when the lines are long she’s always willing to help out, and address your banking concerns, big or small. Very long wait. Always have to wait more than 20 minutes and always understaffed.The management should do something about this issue but I guess they chose not to.I'm at the point that I'm strongly considering to move my business account to another bank institution.
