Big O in Agassiz was great for me. I went for a wheel alignment, and while initially they were unable to complete it because of service my vehicle needed, they told me exactly what they recommended and took care of me. Highly recommend.

Absolutely horrible service and mechanical work. I had stored my van from October 2024 to May 2025. I was told by “Deb” that one of my back swing door windows had cracked due to a cold snap. This was in early April I was informed of this.
She had stated that cardboard had been put in, and had also been taped, so no water would get in.
I sold the van in the first week of May 2025. The buyer went to pick up the van. Not only was the window broken, there was glass and water everywhere inside. Not only had Deb lied about what had really happened (someone broke in obviously as the buyer said there was a perfectly round hole punched in the window). They also lied about no water coming in. There was. Quite a lot. Then you take my $100 after the fact is disgusting.
They also did front end work on my Subaru in April 2024, while I was residing in Agassiz for about 6 months. I had to pay a mechanic in Prince George almost $400 to fix what Big O in Agassiz had supposedly fixed. Very dangerous. I could’ve been in a serious accident, my mechanic said the front tire was hanging on by a thread. The same front side that Big O had reportedly fixed.
I wrote this review to warn others, as this is a very dangerous situation where work is not being done properly.
Head office will be notified accordingly.

I had an unexpected breakdown on my way to Langley and called Big O Tires in Agassiz for help. They sent a tow truck right away. Once I got to their shop, they fixed my tire right away and got me back on the road quick. The cost was reasonable, and they were professional and friendly. Many thanks to the team at Big O Tires for helping me in a pinch. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

They managed to make room for a flat repair as soon as they opened. Highly recommend Big O Tires, reasonably priced too!

Was quoted $300 to do a muffler replacement that I supplied. Left my vehicle there 2 days so they could work on it at THEIR convenience. Asked for a cheaper version to exit the exhaust out the side, they used my old tailpipe and charged almost double the quoted price. Then were short when I questioned the amount. Since management changed they are only about the money.

We were in Harrison Hot Springs for a wedding last weekend, after arriving at our hotel we noticed a lot of noise from under the front end. When we were driving to Harrison we drove by Big O in Agassiz Not knowing the area we went to see if they could check it out.
They put it up on the hoist and it was a broken axle. They started on the job but unfortunately could not finish it in time for closing. Not from a lack of trying... they came across another issue but due to the time of day could not get the part until Monday.
They were able to get the truck fixed and ready for us by 11am on Monday. Then we were able to head back home.
Thank you so much Deb for doing what you could for us and to the young man who got it fixed and ready for us.
We truly appreciate all the hard work to get us back on the road
Thank you again :)

My 2001 Duramax was towed in for battery issues, and despite my stress, the professional driver and the excellent team at Big O Agassiz quickly put my mind at ease, completing an oil change and providing a full inspection report with topped-off fluids, proving their commitment to outstanding service—thank you, Brett, Deb, and the team!

I never got any work done here as I don't own a vehicle but I did accidentally get called by Big O tires and spoke to Deb. Deb is hands down the best person on the planet. She's hilarious and really cares about the clients of Big O Tires.
Thank you Deb for the accidental call!

Great place to go if you're a woman who loves being taken advantage of. Went in and requested a basic basic oil change for my 08 caravan and a tire patch.
Asked for a quote, $140.00 give or take, depending on how much oil was required. Okay, no problem. Upon picking up my vehicle, my bill was now $221.78!!!! Apparently for an inspection that was done that was never discussed or agreed upon. Conveniently the printer was down, and the emailed receipt has no break down as to what I actually paid for. In suspicion, I called a different Big O location, and was quoted 80.00 or so for a basic oil change for my vehicle. After trying to call to rectify the situation, was hung up on. I wouldn't recommend anyone be serviced here.
So after paying way more than I anticipated, he proceeds to throw numbers at me that my breaks are basically metal on metal, which will cost 600 for pads and rotars on the rear, but if they need calipers 500.00 so it would be 1000.00 for rear breaks and 1000.00 for the fronts, trying to talk me into another 2k worth of work.

We had our vehicle towed in , we were losing transmission fluid and it wouldn’t drive. It was brought in at 3 pm on a Monday. Tuesday at 4 I called, still hadn’t been looked at. Called Wednesday and Deb informed me they thought the transmission was shot. We didn’t believe it. She had her husband call me back to explain. I asked if they knew where the leak was and he said no, they were about an hour into it and 2 jugs of transmission fluid. Said they’d have to take it apart more to find the problem.
I was very frustrated and advised not to work on it anymore, we’d have it towed.
When I called back Friday to arrange another tow, Deb advised I had a $244 bill to pay. I was pretty shocked. We took a set of tires to them previously to put on rims, that took them about an hour and our bill was around $75. I asked what they did, she advised an hour and half of work and tests ran. Couldn’t tell me what tests were done and I haven’t seen an invoice still, 4 days later. I was very irate at this point and showing great customer service, Deb proceeded to yell at me, talking over me and not answering my questions. My husband sitting 6 feet away heard every word.
I paid the hostage fee, had it towed to another shop Monday. In half hour he had on the hoist, immediately saw the hose that was ruptured to the rad. He bypassed that, filled the fluid up and the car drove perfectly, no codes. So it needed some work on the rad. Will be ready Wednesday.
I called back to Big O as I was really upset. Wanting to know why they went right to replacing the transmission, not fixing an apparent problem. Deb didn’t want to talk to me about it and said she’d have her husband call me back, but he was home sick. Next day, no call back. I called three times, left messages.
I feel ripped off, no invoice, can’t tell me what they did in the hour and a half they claimed they worked on it. My last message I left I let them know I’m done waiting for an excuses and I want a refund from them.
I emailed the pictures of the rad that the other mechanic sent me, very apparent what the problem was. Deb replied via email asking me to stop calling and “threatening” with posting about this and to be patient and wait for her husband to call me when he’s feeling better.
At this point I have no patience, we live in a very remote area and that’s our only vehicle. It’s now been over a week for something that could’ve been fixed in days.

So much for supporting small town business. Gave all info to Deb for two sets of tires for two vehicles. Said Brent would call me. Never did. Bought two sets of tires from competitor..end of story.

I’m very impressed with the customer service. Deb called me twice with a couple of questions, didn’t try to “upsell” with any repairs that weren’t necessary.
