“Spent a lazy hour in the outdoor pools right around sunset and the view up the valley toward Kootenay Lake was worth the whole detour off Highway 31. The hot pool sits close to 40C so it's easy to linger, then you duck into the actual cave section carved into the mountain which is a nice change from just floating around. Staff at the front desk were patient walking us through the locker and towel setup even during a busy Saturday crowd. Parking lot fills up fast by midday, so getting there right when they open is the move if you want an easy spot and a quieter soak.”
