Good prices for the area, full service gas. The Gill And Gift was a wonderful store with great service, helpful advice, interesting unique items, local art and gifts run by wonderful people whom were pillars to the community for a very long time. Now it is just a regular ol' gas station once it was taken over by Canco. It's still the best gas station in all of Balfour.

This place rules. Staff are all friendly, prices are fair, they have literally everything you need.Worms? They got that.A Ford hat? They got that.Monster Energy Aussie Lemonade Punch? Those are 2/$5.A little spoon and fork folding knife plier tool? Got it.Ms Vickies All Dressed? All day.Seen this enormous dog outside, bro was absolutely beefed up in the lot. If it was up to me id probably name him Big Tony but i didn't ask what his real name was.

Best place in the Koots to buy fishing bait and tackle. Also the full service gas bar is essential to the area, with courteous staff and a few snacks to tide you over while out on the lake. 5☆ in my opinion!

We’ve been stopping here for years now, today we stopped in on our way through. The owner was so kind she saw our new born and gave him a teddy from the shelf at no charge. If your passing through Balfour support a great local business and stop here!

friendly staff and many gifts on hand, a great place to grab your fishing licence or some extra tackle. New fuel tanks and fair prices. Always a clean and wonderful stop!

Maybe we got unlucky but you can only rate what you experience. Staff weren't helpful to a couple of novice fishermen/ladies - we asked for some tips and lure suggestions whilst buying licences and equipment but got very short answers and the slight feeling we were just being nuisance tourists. The shop was empty whilst we were there so slightly puzzled as to why.
