The Village is open next for Spring Break: March 16-27, 2026. Programs and pre-booked tours are available year-round.
Where History Comes to Life! Visitors are invited to our 10-acre site complete with a 1920s Village, Country-side & Carousel. Many shops, businesses and homes are open to explore. Visitors can chat with costumed townsfolk, watch demonstrations and take part in activities.
Favourite stops include the Blacksmith, Schoolhouse, General Store and Farmhouse garden. Visitors of all ages enjoy the thrill of a carousel ride.
Amenities include a gift shop, picnic tables and an Ice Cream Parlour which serves light menu options and sweet treats.
Burnaby Village is the primary historical resource for the City of Burnaby.

Amazing open air museum showcasing the history of Burnaby. Really enjoyed the live demo from the blacksmith. Easy paced activity good for families. Spent about 2-3 hours here.
