If you think the old one in the mall was bad, think again. With fancy walls & receptionist they hired youth in their 20s who have no clue on what they are doing. Long lines & unprofessional service. Took 20 min & 2 staff to process mortgage prepayment deposit, which typically takes 5 min. And they simply pushed me aside while serving others behind.CIBC has no shame in squeezing an extra penny from your wallet but they don't man up when it comes to customer service!I'm looking for another location!

Awful service non of the tellers were friendly and the furthest thing from helpful. There are still reasons ppl need to go to tellers at any of the branches in coquitlam I've done the same transaction for months no issues he wouldn't even offer any help even after I explained I do this biweekly. Didn't ask a coworker if they could help either which I've seen others do plenty of times at other branches.

I was worried about coming to this branch after seeing some reviews, but my experience has very much changed my mind. Everybody there was very nice and quick to help when I came in.

My review is about the new branch at 3778 Grand Promenade, Unit 410.I had trouble activating my new credit card. Called the card center and the staff there were not able to resolve the issue. So I came to this branch to seek help. The branch representative - Anita Wong - made several lengthy calls and finally found the cause of our problem. She was very patient and gave me help even though it was already her lunch hour. Really appreciated her top notch service.

Great experience, branch is new and clean and the tellers and advisors are highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming to this branch. I saw the older reviews and was worries, however, those comments were for the old branch. The new branch has exceeded my expectations and I believe that anyone who goes will be pleasantly surprised!

I had an appointment with my financial advisor at 1:00 yesterday, when I got there, I was told my person wasn’t in, ok, why make an appointment with her if she wasn’t going to be in, I was told this other person will have the meeting with me, well after waiting half an hour past my scheduled appointment, and he comes out and says “you can come in now” no introduction, he said nothing, he sat down and started typing on his laptop! I said, shall I tell you why I’m here? And it went down hill after that, I was so pissed, I wanted to slap him, he made me feel like I was begging, for money, my money I might add! I will be closing my account and taking my investment elsewhere! I never had such a terrible experience with a bank in my life! They had two tellers, and a line up almost out the door! So much staff but so much confusion! My word, that’s enough for me!

If you want to make withdraw or deposit. DONT COME HERE!!! It’s locked after hours time so don’t waster time. Now is 6:16 pm and locked!!PS: I thought it’s inside the mall. But it’s not inside at all!!!

Poor bank with poor staff, people working here don’t know how to park their car legally! A couple of times saw some cibc staff walking out from the cibc during work off hours and got on the car parked in those residential reserved parking and leave. Feel sad to those residents in city of lougheed and those cibc customer serving by these poor people.

On workdays no one answered the phone and there was no information to tell people if it was open that day. Unless you go there and check their notice on the door, you will be disappointed.For people who want to go here recently:Today is Dec 28 2022, the notice said "Closed due to the power outage", no idea when they will back to work.

This has to be the worst CIBC ever. I have banked for CIBC for years and so has my family. I've never once gotten good service from them. I'm in the process of switching my bank over. The person I got my mortgage from initially takes ages to respond when I have a question. She gave me a terrible interest rate and promised me a cash back but I never got it, and it was impossible to get a hold of her after. 2 years later I walked into this branch to refinance my mortgage.. Guess what. Took 1.5 Months for me to get a hold of them to even get an update. I tried to call, no one at this branch picks up. Is that the normal processing time? Finally when I got a hold of her at the branch she said "sorry it took so long it was complicated" WELL atleast Update me with what's going on. Just for them to tell me it won't work. Beyond that, I've tried to book several appointments with them over the phone and no one ever picks up. I don't know how this branch stays open, all things considered I never write a review EVER and this one really deserves all the reviews and ratings it gets, wish I could rate it 0/5. Treat your customers better!
