Staff was rude and denied my withdrawal to the full amount that I needed. They tried shoving waivers in my face, treating me like some kind of criminal for wanting to take out my own money.

Came to deposit last week. The system was down. So bless the teller Leyna was very efficient to help with my banking needs. Not only deposit got done but other things as well. She was able to explain to me with my others accounts that need to be solve.

Terrible bank. For 4 consecutive months now their "system" has made an error that charged my line of credit the interest, instead of taking the interest out of my chequeing account as it was set up. I'm sure a lot of clients who don't look that closely at their banking are being charged more and more interest through this "error".

I go here for work.There was one day that I went later in the afternoon. I waited 15 min in line, then a lady came and took me to her desk. This was a big deposit and it was going to take a while. She kept looking at her watch and kept mentioning that she had an appt at 6. Next time please don't take that responsibility. I had to pack up everything and go back the next day because it wasn't finished.

The worst customer service with lack of knowledge in Metrotown branch. I will close my account with this bank soon. I had no issues with other coast capital branches during the last 13 years working with them, however I had several awful experiences only with METROTOWN branch .

One of the worst service ever, I went to the branch to get the draft from my account, after waiting for almost 15-20 mins on counter the girl came and told me that I cannot get the draft as I deposited the draft few days ago, I showed her my account & told her that I understand there is "X" amount which is on hold, I am not going to use that but the available funds which is there in my account that I can use, she told me that she needs to confirm with other branch the form of payment, I am like I am ok with that you can confirm but they said sorry that branch is closed now like couple of minutes ago. I told her it's very important for me to get the draft and what is the meaning of available funds if I am unable to use that funds. She is like sorry as of now I will not be able to give you the draft, we need to confirm with other branch as if I submitted the draft in other bank, If the bank is same everything is in system why do you even need to contact them.In a nutshell I was not able to use my own available funds just because of the unprofessional staff and services, just because of them I got embaressed where I need to give the draft. I am going to close this account ASAP & not recommend anyone to do banking with them.

Terrible staff and wait times. Saturday, only 2 tellers. I'm next in line and still waited 30mins before I just left. No acknowledgement, nor any of the 2 desk associates bothered to help.

The manager of this location helped me correct a big error I had made with my business banking. I was very stressed about it. Luke took the time to hear what happened and how I was affected by it. He's a good listener and made me feel heard and understood.Luke then took the time to help me correct my error. He called me personally to let me know what he was able to do and I was so grateful for the help and support.Great customer service! Thank you! ?

If you like honest, informative, and trustworthy advising, Coast Capital is not for you. I have been a client for 3 years and am leaving for many reasons. They include: unsupportive and unresponsive advisors, their outdated transfer fees, their lack of any distinguishing characteristics or perks from other banks or credit unions, and worst of all, the partnership they have with the absolutely brutal Worldsource Financial group. Please CC, if you know what's best for your bankers, leave Worldsource behind. Worldsource Financial has very little information about themselves online, nowhere to leave reviews, limited support, and an extremely weak and underdeveloped webpage and dashboard. It almost seems fake. As an investor, you receive no relevant information from the dashboard, and need to have a very hands-on approach if you want any relative statistic related to your funds. If you have a TFSA or RRSP with Coast Capital, you'll have to deal with Worldsource. Good luck, and good riddance.

Worst customer service from Salma Munir. She hung up mid way talking to us on the phone because she didn't like the way the conversation was going. She did not follow up with what she promised a month ago, and had to be reminded on the phone of our conversation. We had to email a follow up asking if she had any updates and still got no response until we called someone else for help. I would give her a 0 stars if I could. What a shame that she is a member representative for Coast Capital.
