The Indian young men (small stature about 5'6-5'8 in their 20s) who work evening of Sunday Dec 3, 2023 (I recognize a few of them) are extremely rude, lazy, and nearly ran into me with their shopping cart while stocking. However the lovely young Indian lady is very kind and helpful as well as the Asian male cashier (wears glasses) - very polite and helpful. These two should be promoted!

This used to be a great store with items selling at $1. Then prices went up to $1.25 and then to $1.50. Now many items are more expensive than the others you find at Walmart. Not interestingv anymore

It has a large selection of various items. Good prices overall but some items now more expensive (Oct 2023) but that's due to inflation these days. I don't expect much service at Dollarama so won't comment on that. Ample parking at front or at back. Overall, if you're looking for items to last, this may not be the place to buy it depending on the item, but for other daily use items, this can be a good option to shop.

That’s much larger than the other branches in the area. Some of the shelves were not restocked but most of them were pretty good.Kitchen dishes and stuff section had a good variety of goods.The staff were friendly, but I guess they need a short of them.Overall experience was good and I’ll go back for sure.

Mostly empty shelves at this location. Kingsway n McPherson in Burnaby. Always 1 cashier for a whole line up. No self checkout option is less than ideal.

I frequent this location.PARKING - is not great, now there is construction so ya parking sucks. LOCATION - Extremely busy locationCASHIERS - 1 open cashier & a line up of about 15+ patrons wanting to pay.PRICES - 10% of items are $1.50i complain but will still go as the variety changes. It would be nice if more items were more dollar store money but i guess its called survival is the dollarama relm.

Poor customer service. I was in your Bunaby location today at 1200hr and witnessed your one of the employees tell an elderly gentleman where shoelaces were. The man was not able to find them and stated he could not. I proceeded to assit the man with finding what he wanted and he left happy. I was curious as to why the employee didn't personally assist him (but instead went to get more product for isle 7). He proceeded to tell me that he new the product in the store and that he didn't have what the gentleman wanted. I said but you did, I just helped him find what he needed. It is great that you have a vast product knowledge, however no personal CS skills. Is it Dollarama's policy to only care about your bottomline and disregard an elderly person because you think you know what they want without even taking 60 seconds to walk 4 feet to help. That is all it took me and don't work here. Apparently the employee was offended because I questioned his customer service which he cares nothing about. He should be embarrassed for himself that he shared no humility in his mistake instead bragged about his volume of knowledge on the products the store carries. The arrogance he showed I would hope does not reflect the type of overall employer you want to be. Our society needs people that care for each other. All it would have taken was 60 seconds to help. I returned my products to the shelves and left. It is sad to see such a disregard for human compassion.

This is my 3rd fave dollarama in Metro Vancouver. The store is well organized and the staff look lovely and smell great.

They do not treat kids respectful they kicked my child out cause a group of kids were playing in the store, so they kicked allll of the kids out, saying you're not buying anything you can leave, over a customer who complained about all of the kids, why treat them all bad? Just cause they are kids they have rights too!

Dollarama management take note!You have a very unfriendly and disgruntled worker who doesn’t know what customer service is. I did a time-consuming and arduous UberEats Shop & Pay order for a customer with more than 30 items this morning. This worker became nasty when I asked him a few times where to find an item. He said I should not ask him because then he'd be like he was working for UberEats! What logic! Where is his sense of belonging and going the extra mile to bring in profits for Dollarama? Perhaps Dollarama management should give him a crash course on customer service!

Always good prices for everyday and essentials. Bought some paint brushes this time. I would say only slightly lower quality than the paint store brands but only $2 vs $12.

I received the poorest customer service ever. I wanted to buy 19 kid activity books but there was no price on them, and no price label on the shelf either. As I approached the cashier, there was no “hello” or anything. I said hi. When I asked him if there’s no price sticker on something (gesturing to the books), is there a default price? He replied in a condescending way, “They’re probably all the same price.” Well yes, I’m aware that all 19 books would be the same price, but that’s not what I’m asking.I asked if he could do a price check before ringing them all in. He replied with attitude, “I’m not going to do ALL of them.” Again, I’m not asking for all 19 books to be scanned! I was a cashier for years myself and I’m well aware of how all this works. There was no need for his attitude and tone. Once I was all checked out, again, silence from him. No “thanks” or “bye” or anything you’d expect someone who works in the customer service industry would say. I said “Thanks!” and was met with silence. This is simply unacceptable, and you need to hire better staff who care, even a little. He provided some of the worst service I’ve encountered in years from a cashier.

Poor Management and unremarkable low customer service. The manager talks down to customers and very unfriendly. Say Hi to her and she gives an unfriendly look. Then just kept rushing me. I asked her if she could take one price tag off says it’s not her job could you see the line up. Thanks I do know about line up and patiently waited for 10 min. Didn’t bother me because I happily got what I needed. One of the rudest managers I’ve met. Thankfully I went to another store after with a more warm and friendly experience.
