Don Chendo Mexican Products is a store with very helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly, and incredibly friendly staff who provide excellent service. It offers a great, wonderful, and amazing selection of Mexican products and foods not easily found elsewhere in Canada, bringing more real Mexico to the country. The store carries everything from Mexican ingredients, candies, sweet bread, conchas, and big candy mixes for piñatas to soaps, detergents, pottery, and decorations for special festivities. Shoppers will find a large variety of items including canned and bottled salsas and condiments, many drinks, dried peppers, and frozen items like tamales, empanadas, carnitas, Pollo con mole, different taco fillings, as well as fresh, locally made salsas, cheeses, and tortillas. The homemade hot sauces are particularly delicious. While some note prices are higher than in the United States, the store is recognized for good price and good quality. Customers love the store, call it the best Mexican store and a candy shop for adults, and frequently state they will be back, definitely recommending it.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They had the molcajete bowl we were looking for. A great selection of foods not easily found elsewhere. Coming back soon!
