I’ve been a dedicated Tim Hortons customer since the brand first opened in Canada. For years, it was part of my everyday routine, and I continued going out of loyalty even as quality began to decline.
I come to this location every morning around 5:30 a.m. I am always polite, always say good morning to the staff, and treat everyone with respect. Most days I just want a coffee and to start my day on a positive note.
Unfortunately, there is one particular staff member at this location whose behavior has been consistently rude and unprofessional. She never responds to greetings and often comes across as dismissive. That alone is disappointing, but it’s not the main issue.
The real concern is hygiene. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed the same gloves being used to handle cash, touch hair and face, and then immediately prepare food without changing gloves. There is no hairnet, and there is constant adjusting of long hair while food is being prepared. This has happened repeatedly, not just once.
I’ve raised these concerns respectfully in the past. I’ve spoken to owners, contacted corporate, and tried to give the benefit of the doubt by returning to see if anything had changed. Each time, the response was minimal — often just an apology or a coffee card, which I’ve never accepted because this was never about free coffee. It’s about food safety and basic standards.
After seeing the same issues continue, I started trying other Tim Hortons locations, reading reviews and switching stores in hopes of finding one that still follows proper hygiene and customer service practices. Sadly, I’ve encountered similar problems at multiple locations.
Today was the point where I decided I’m done. I won’t keep returning to the same locations hoping for improvement that never comes. I’ll be making my coffee at home from now on.
It’s disappointing to walk away from a brand that used to feel like a Canadian staple, but long-time customers shouldn’t have to compromise on cleanliness, professionalism, or respect. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, because loyal customers don’t leave without trying.

service was good but that place need some attention/repairs.Got a video of it but couldn't upload it .The ceiling was leaking water near food displays and one tile was ready to let go as it was bulging full of water .Lots of gross tiles with big yellow stains ,in a food environnement.

Giving this one star because zero stars is not an option. This old gas machines outside locked my card when nothing is wrong with it causing a hassle and waste of time for myself. Always have someone wrong when coming here.

I wanted to buy a charger, and the lady there told me I could exchange it if it didn’t work with my car. Unfortunately, the charger didn’t fit my car, and when I tried to exchange it for a cable, they said I could only exchange it for another wired product, meaning only for another charger, not a cable. This doesn’t make sense, especially since I had just bought it a minute earlier and only tested it in my car.
On top of that, I had to purchase another cable because the charger didn’t work, and I was in a hurry due to work. This approach is completely unreasonable. I just wanted to mention that the staff’s attitude and customer service were really poor.

I can't thank the staff here enough. I pick up my coffee and tea here every single morning on the way to work. They are friendly, fast and never make mistakes. I find the service here can be better than some of the larger Tim Hortons locations. Definitely give this tiny gem near brentwood mall a try and avoid the longer waits at the larger locations.
