Bam! Had a great experience here today! Both ladies that helped me today were very nice and went above and beyond to help me find xs metal band tshirts for my son (he's in a band!). Selection for extra small shirts could have been better but I understand that their main demographic are teenagers and adults. All good! Thank you Sophia and the other young lady (sorry your name escapes me!). Great attitudes and just a great vibe from you two. I came in to buy a gift, I don't shop here often, yet I was forced into signing up for an awards account where I now get spam e-mail. I didn't want this, I told the cashier I didn't want this and yet they insisted. It wasn't about "making my experience the best it could be" it was just about getting another sign-up for the e-mail list. Annoying. Deceitful. This place sucks.

My go too hot topic the staff are all super nice and fun to chat with especially Amber she saw me with some items from my favourite anime and went to go find some more for me. She is a literal angel. Definitely love to go look around but also chatting with the staff as they are super friendly and fun to chat with :)

I visited the Hot Topic Metrotown location on August 3rd and had an exceptional experience, all thanks to Mariah Mo Mo. She was incredibly helpful with resolving a non-tax issue my daughter was facing and made the entire process hassle-free. Mariah Mo Mo’s personalized attention didn’t stop there—she also recommended some clothing that my 12-year-old daughter absolutely loved. Her expertise and genuine care for her customers truly stood out. Mariah Mo Mo made our shopping experience enjoyable and memorable.

Went to hot topic today to check their bluey backpack for my daughter. We asked help from Nayesha if we can see the backpack as it was on their very top rack. She helped us right away with a smile & even looked for more bluey item that we might like. You can see she has a very positive vibe. The other associate that was so helpful too was Vincent. Vincent helped us to sign up and explained to us how their points system work. Vincent was so patient to explain and with a smile too. You guys made our day. Thank you for the excellent service. See you guys on our next visit.

She actually cares and regardless of the industry, that quality is rare to find, she listens, has original and exceptional feedback.
