Bav and his team leave nothing to be desired from their work and automotive advice. Throughout the years, they've provided me with thorough inspections and reliable, quality service. These guys are trustworthy mechanics that leave no stone unturned. They've been essential in getting my vehicle in tip-top shape before a few big road trips I've made across the province.

Service is always amazing here! They are very good at explaining how everything is done if I ever want to understand. I got my tires changed, I come here regularly for my oil refills. And they make sure to let me know of any problems with my car that is a safety concern and don't charge me or make me pay for anything my car doesn't need. They always go above and beyond with their work. I spoke with Bav and he seems like a good person who really wants to help us. And I appreciate him so much. 100% recommend this place as they always do such a great job! And value is great to as it's not as expensive as an actual dealership.

“Don’t trust them at all, especially if, like me, you don’t know much about cars, because they’ll rip you off. They asked me for $300 to replace the front headlights, saying it would take 2 hours of work at $140 per hour, and they wouldn’t even use the brand I wanted. I had to book an appointment, and they gave me a time for the following week. I went somewhere else, and they did it for $40 in about 15 minutes. Don’t trust them at all; they’re complete liars!”

Another great experience at Midas. We had a slow puncture so took in to get looked at. Unfortunately it did have two nails one in the side wall. Bav gave above and beyond great customer service not only did he manage to get a new tire on a Saturday afternoon he also gave us 25% of and also replaced the tire later the same day. We always get great service from Hastings Midas highly impressed and recommend. Thank you Bav and your team.

As a single woman who doesn't know a lot about cars, it's such a relief to have this friendly, respectful, reliable, and trustworthy shop in my neighborhood. The owners and staff explain things clearly, never talk down to me, and don't try to upsell. In fact, they usually end up charging me less than what they quoted. I've been bringing my vehicle here for a couple of years now for repairs and regular maintenance, and will continue to recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Thanks, guys!

We’ve been taking our car to Amar and Bav since 2017, and they and their team have never let us down. Had our vehicle in yesterday to have the air compressor replaced. We were told the costs up front, and when the car would be ready, and they took care of a couple of smaller related issues too. I know we’re always well cared for there. The quality of their work and their customer service are top notch.
