took the cars there for years , but last visit for switch to winter tires got sketched out by how hard they tried to upsell , even windshield wipers even though there was a coupon where you got a pair free - literally gave them over $5k in business the last 10 years and now Canadian Tire will get it update they mentioned the brakes needed adjusted , Canadian tire looked and adjusted them for free

I have sent my car service here for years and was shocked by the treatment I received this morning. The guy went straight to educate me for a few minutes late, neither accepted my apology nor offered an alternative arrangement. His behaviour was unprofessional and rude, and he has no idea what position he is in, what his livelihood depends on, or how competitive the market is in his industry. Probably, this place has changed ownership under new management, badly indeed. I believe this individual needs to complete additional training to improve his communication and ethical knowledge before entering the workplace. Otherwise, he would rot the Canada’s workforce. I call on the public, including existing customers, to think twice before sending cars here for service unless they can demonstrate how they will further improve their service. For now, only one star is deserved.
Follow-up: I greatly appreciate the manager's phone call the following day after I posted the above review. The manager expressed sincere apologies for my experience. Overall, I do feel this company cares about its customers and has a series of policies to maintain its quality. I am now changing to four stars and will follow up on this review after I have my car serviced there next year.

I recently visited for an oil change and was given an estimate that included duplicate charges for both the oil and the filter. I had to point out the errors myself and explain why the items shouldn’t be charged twice. Although the final invoice was corrected after I raised the issue, I was disappointed that the mistake wasn’t caught by the staff and was instead attributed to a “system glitch.”
The service itself was fine, but the billing process made me lose confidence. I recommend double-checking your estimate and invoice if you choose to come here.
