I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I recently received at the Bainbridge branch of RBC.I have been a loyal customer of RBC for over a decade, both personally and for my business. Unfortunately, my recent encounter at the Bainbridge branch has left me questioning my decision to continue banking with RBC.I visited the Bainbridge branch to deposit my paycheck, a routine transaction I have completed countless times without any issues. However, on this occasion, I was shocked and appalled by the treatment I received from the staff.To my surprise, the teller at the counter not only refused to deposit my paycheck but also accused me of being a "sketchy" person based on my appearance. The manager was then called over who didn't even look at my cheque, only looked at me and agreed with the teller.I believe in fair and equal treatment for all customers, regardless of their appearance. It is disheartening to see that the Bainbridge branch has failed to uphold these principles. As someone who has maintained a clean and responsible banking record with RBC for more than ten years, such baseless accusations are not only unfounded but deeply offensive.I value professionalism, respect, and unbiased service, qualities that I found lacking in my recent experience at the Bainbridge branch. As a result, I have decided to move my personal and business accounts to BMO, where I believe my banking needs will be met without unjust discrimination.Discrimination has no place in any institution, and I trust that RBC will take the necessary steps to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future. Based on other reviews the manager clearly needs to be removed.

For close to two decades, the most perfumed branch of RBC in all of Confederation. Reeks to high heaven. Like they spraypainted the place with Chanel No 5, a second coat with Axe Body Spray, and a third coat of whatever fragrances were rejected by Bounce laundry sheets. Every single visit I leave with a pounding perfume headache. I have raised the issue at least 30 times over the last 20 years, all they do is cluck about being sorry that was my experience. Painful to visit. Unfortunately it is the nearest branch to my home. The smell is so strong, it will likely linger after the building is razed.

In over 10 years of cashing cheques with RBC I’ve never come across someone as rude and immature as the assistant manager of the 2840 Bainbridge branch. I’m not sure if RBC is desperate for workers? How this individual still has a job with them blows my mind. I suggest that people stay clear of this incompetent little man boy.

Twice in 3 months. RBC Closed one of my business accounts by mistake. No sympathy, no immediate action just attitude and immediately played the "you are being rude to me" card. Today, an other issue with my other business card. Asked to speak to manager. Same thing. It's not about being rude, it's about being a customer and expecting a service that you are not providing. Work, figure out what is happening instead of quick dismissal. I don't know the managers name but she is very unprofessional and seems to struggle to sepearate her personal and professional demeanor.

I am a newcomer to Canada and I was unable to land an appointment via call at RBC so we (my husband and I) decided to walk in to open an account. We were greeted politely and within a few minutes, received an appointment with the financial advisor Hoa Dang. She is such a delightful person. Extremely patient and sweet with her service. She elaborately explained all the options available. Not just that, since I was new here, we discussed about BC as a place and she shared her insights on so many things. I got my account opened in a few minutes time and Hoa's service is commendable! Kind of happy that I couldn't book the appointment via call and got a walk-in! In person experience was great. Thank you :)

Poor service, did the wrong thing for me by setting up a different account to what I set myself up with. Months later, still not sorted the issue.

Excellent service provided at this location. Very helpful experienced and knowledgeable staff. I am always greeted with a smile and the wait is generally not an issue. I have only had to wait 5-8 mins at the most but there is often no wait time at all.

When you goto make an account online it says come into the branch anytime no appointment required .... Goto branch next day am told I'd have to wait over a week and require an appointment.... Will never use RBC after this experience ... You guys sure know how to get rid of potential new customers

Billions in annual profits yet take a month to finalize transactions to get my money out of the investment side after I already transferred it Into a cash account. They have a brick wall between you and their back office. You can not, and will not get answers. You’ll be told to wait. And wait you will.

Horrible counter service, long time customers do not come first at this branch. It's all about doing whatever it takes to do less on the part of such rude, unfriendly staff.
