I called their branch and set up an appointment. They emailed me a confirmation for the 5-6 pm time slot. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the agent Igor was not at the branch, and there was no record of any appointment scheduled with them.

The contact number of this branch is almost unreachable and the contact centre wait time is 30min +.

Going to this branch was a terrible experience. Teller was a rude woman who never smiled or even didn't try to be helpful. Her manager was really rude too. I will close my accounts in Scotia and never suggest anyone to work with Scotiabank. Their customer service is awful.

I had to deal with a teller named Kuro Ginah. Extremely strange and poor behaviour. Based on the ratings of all Scotiabank branches it appears this is too common.

Update: been going here for a few years now and I’ve seen much improvement. The tellers have been very friendly and helpful and advisers available when needed. Lots of turnover in advisors but I’m happier so changing from 1 to 5 stars now and have removed the past comments.

Never takes ownership to resolve client problem . From teller to the manager horrible. The whole culture of Scotiabank is horrible, and not client centric. They are very good at referring to telephone banking or the home branch. Disgusting customer service. If there is an option to give negativ score i think this branch should get it.. My biggest mistake was to open account at Scotiabank.

Update: been going here for a few years now and I’ve seen improvement. The tellers gave been very friendly and helpful and advisers available when needed. Lots of turnover in advisors but I’m happier so changing from 1 yo 3 stars now.I went to open a new account here and the staff were most unhelpful. Seemed lax, doing the minimum. Not caring to give you one bit of info more than you asked.It's like pulling teeth. Worse bank experience ever.

Howie Wu investment advisor at this branch is a salty thoughtless goon. I went for our yearly RRSP contribution and was told that I did not exist on their system. I went to a teller to pull all my funds out and he heard this and came out and confronted me. He was not a party to this transaction and was unwelcome. I then told them I would come back with my Lawyer and then another teller supplied me with the neccessary information and I left. Pulling everything in 2 months.

It happened again like last year 2023. The same bank teller kept entering the wrong information when i was just wiring money toout out of Canada.Five times of mistakes. She is the worst bank teller I ever seen.

I've stopped using Scotibank as my primary banking option. I went here to get a print out of my 6 month bank statement and they wanted to charge me 15$ for it. I'm all for paperless statements but it was necessary and urgent as I needed to submit my 6 month statement as proofs to the embassy. Imagine charging your customers for a mere print out.
