Never takes ownership to resolve client problem . From teller to the manager horrible. The whole culture of Scotiabank is horrible, and not client centric. They are very good at referring to telephone banking or the home branch. Disgusting customer service. If there is an option to give negativ score i think this branch should get it.. My biggest mistake was to open account at Scotiabank.

Update: been going here for a few years now and I’ve seen improvement. The tellers gave been very friendly and helpful and advisers available when needed. Lots of turnover in advisors but I’m happier so changing from 1 yo 3 stars now.I went to open a new account here and the staff were most unhelpful. Seemed lax, doing the minimum. Not caring to give you one bit of info more than you asked.It's like pulling teeth. Worse bank experience ever.

Howie Wu investment advisor at this branch is a salty thoughtless goon. I went for our yearly RRSP contribution and was told that I did not exist on their system. I went to a teller to pull all my funds out and he heard this and came out and confronted me. He was not a party to this transaction and was unwelcome. I then told them I would come back with my Lawyer and then another teller supplied me with the neccessary information and I left. Pulling everything in 2 months.

It happened again like last year 2023. The same bank teller kept entering the wrong information when i was just wiring money toout out of Canada.Five times of mistakes. She is the worst bank teller I ever seen.

I've stopped using Scotibank as my primary banking option. I went here to get a print out of my 6 month bank statement and they wanted to charge me 15$ for it. I'm all for paperless statements but it was necessary and urgent as I needed to submit my 6 month statement as proofs to the embassy. Imagine charging your customers for a mere print out.

I was really unhappy with the service at Scotia ! People at front desk should be more clear about the information they give out and rather than explaining when you become more defensive it doesn't look good.Scotia bank branch and Scotia bank customer support online looks like 2 different entities one has no clue of other and what information they give out.According to Scotia online support we can close the account online, and According to the front desk staff we can only close account in the branch and what ever was promised by the Scotia online will not be kept by the branch. Is this the service ?I don't mean to be rude but sorry it was very disappointing service. My advice please maintain a record of file of what's spoken online and what's spoken at bank to get a clear picture and help the customers better.Thank you .

I faced serious Asian hate from a Scotiabank call center representative and escalated but just ignored it (sorry, not about this branch). I do not recommend for Asians to create a bank account at Scotiabank!

The branch manager Anson went out of his way to help me when I had difficulty dealing with another bank... All the other staff I have dealt with were very kind and helpful as well. Would come back again:)

Free underground parking or metred street parking. I had quick teller service . I quickly used ATM afterwards.

Stopped in today to get a Savings/Checking Account set up for where I could transfer the funds I have coming to me when a Term Deposit I hold matures.The Clerk who examined my Bank Papers was not satisfied with my Bank of Nova Scotia Papers and refused to recognize them and would not set up my Bank Account.Worst Service!

All I needed to do was deposit some cash at the ATM so I figured a location with bad reviews was good enough. I realized after the ATM rejected a bill that I had a fake one. Atleast 2 features were either missing or wrong. I spoke to 2 tellers and had no problem putting a bill back into circulation. Check your cash carefully from this branch!

Working hour are very bad.Closing at 4 pm is not working for me.You have to change the hour of operation or I am going to change my BANK.

Do not bank at this branch, if you had the great misfortune of banking here I truly empathize because I had the worst banking experiences here. Seriously read the reviews! The manager Anson Lau very poorly attempted to deceive me and charge us for an extra monthly plan fee...as if we wouldn't notice right away lol. I guess anything to nickel and dime every customer and shoo them away. So glad to have closed all my accounts good riddance !

Had a bad experience when I wanted to close my account they charged $17 for the closure. My friend went to the branch at Guildford mall but wasn't charged a penny for closing his account. This branch seems highly unprofessional when dealing with customers.
