It was crowded because of the black Friday sale. I'm lost about which product should I buy and it is my first time buying a liquid foundation. My friend recommended me NARS foundation but can’t decide which shade is best for me. I asked for assistance and “Bhav” helped me with that. She is very patient since the machine for some reason is having a hard time taking the picture of my skin. She gave me options and explained and answered all my questions with correct knowledge. I like that you can talk to them like a friend asking for advice. The only thing missing from giving them 5 stars is the cleanliness of the shelves. The makeup tester is all over the place. Maybe because they are so busy at that time. But overall experience was good I’ll be coming back.

Was buying a gift for my grandma and the lady at the front wasn’t very warm. I was in a good mood so I was trying to start a conversation, ask employees favourite scents, but I felt followed around when I was smelling stuff. I was met with cold and blunt attitudes, and uninterested responses. The lady who originally helped me was so nice and gave me full service and when I got my stuff rung in by the blonde lady she wasn’t very interested in talking. Which is fine maybe she had a bad day. But it was a really cold interaction, shopping isn’t as fun as at use to be when employees just don’t want to make it a fun experience or interact.

Every big mall needs a Sephora and it is great Brentwood has one. It is located on the newer side at the outdoor plaza. That means it is a walk from the car park. I ordered online to pick up at the store. Somehow there is no option for curbside pick up. I wish there is some parking spots on the street closest to it for that. As it was, I had to trek from the parking lot by London Drugs (currently still free parking there) to Sephora just to pick up my purchase. The pick up was simple. Just inform the staff (usually there is one standing near the door) you are there for pick up. They will bring your purchase to you. You don't even need to go all the way inside to the cashier for that. Show the bar code on your email purchase notification so they can scan it. Then you're on your way out. I love this option from Sephora online.

Seems that majority of the employees are terribly unhappy with their job. It is visible on their cold face and the way they treat customers. I’ve been there on Thursday Oct 27 to pick up my online order, the girl who was greeter ( I don’t wanna mention her name) just saying No! I asked her how you will be notified when you received an online order! Without checking her online system kept saying no! Standing at the front and spinning the key around! How rude a person could be!This is not the first time that I’ve seen something unprofessional here. Therefore I always prefer to order and go for pick up! But it seems they are not even trained just for the online order pick up!

Did a make up lesson just now. My artist was incredibly nice and helpful but the products that were picked from what I initially said as everyday natural makeup - was not it. When we were done I looked in the mirror and my skin looked cakey and dry. I didn’t want to leave to the event I was going to do I tried to make it work by removing some of it and honestly beyond understanding how to do a wing…. I didn’t get anything except having to home to wash it off and 20% off the bill.Again - to the makeup artist maybe there was a disconnect… but the products used didn’t suit my skin and it was obvious to see that. Nothing about that was everyday…To Sephora if your customer is upset and has to remove most of their make up, help them out. Do better than 20% off an already expensive makeup lesson that ended in a washed face and going back home to do it yourself.

What's wrong with the staff at this Sephora? I've been to my share of Sephora and this is definitely the worst one. There was zero customer service and but there were three staff huddling by the door chatting intensely for at least 20 minutes. I couldn't find hand sanitizer but came across a sink so I turned it on to wash my hands. Then magic happened - in contrast to the complete lack of attention for 30 minutes straight, a scolding voice instantly appeared behind my back to tell me "I need you to turn that off right now please" as if I'm a vandalizing toddler instead of a customer. I didn't see the "staff only" sign on the sink but if someone was helping me perhaps I would have found sanitizer instead. When I turned off the sink the person also vanished before I could turn around. It was unreal. Left such a bad taste in my mouth. Did these girls think Sephora hired them to play security guard to a sink instead of helping customers and making sale? HQ might as well just keep only cashiers and hire actual security guards to man the store instead. It's a better use of overhead.

The casher is very blunt. I had to pay for being treated like a scolding person. I had to buy a gift for my friend, so I held it in, but when I came out of the store, I didn't feel so good. I felt so, so bad. There is something wrong with this. Am I racist or is she to anyone. It's confusing and I feel bad. Sephora needs to be aware of the unkindness of the casher and improve it. No Sephora has ever experienced this feeling.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences in Sephora Brentwood. I was visiting there almost a week ago on a Tuesday, and it wasn't busy at all. No one asked me for assistance, which wasn't a big deal for me since I already knew my way around, but at some point, I wanted to test a lip liner, and the tip was broken, so I just asked a beauty advisor to help me sharpen the pencil and nothing more. But she just told me that she had another client to attend to(still understandable), but she didn't even call someone else to help me and just turned her at me. It is horrible to be working in a retail company built on customer service and being incapable of pulling out the most straightforward customer service task.

Do NOT book a service here. I booked a make up service for a wedding I was attending. In the week leading up to my appointment, I received multiple emails saying that my appointment had been canceled & each time I called to find out why, the person on the phone assured me my appointment was still scheduled for that date/time. Even though I phoned and confirmed 3 times, and the last communication I received was a text days before confirming my appointment, when I showed up, they did not have a make up artist scheduled for me and wouldnt have anyone available for almost 2 hours.Although the person I spoke to at the store was sympathetic to my situation, it was a huge waste of my time driving there, and the parking I paid for…. to be left without make up services I had booked months prior…. And without any real explanation as to how this could possibly happen. Very dissapointed!

Went in for a new beauty blender plus a few other things. I had not one, two, but THREE employees hovering over my shoulders and sneakily following me as if I was stealing. And it was very obvious when they’re standing so uncomfortabley close. Each time I went to a different section, there was an employee to my side. No conversation, just standing there watching and peeking over every time I was looking at a product. When I went to the register they asked me if anyone helped me. I said “No but I had a lot of the employees following me around”. They replied “oh yeah sorry we’re suppose to do that”. Yeah, thanks…

After reading the reviews of poor customer service, I couldn't agree more. The customer service is BAD. I wish I could have even a good experience with at least one cashier, but no. I just go to buy my products fast so I can leave the store quickly..I will request to the company to improve their talk with their employees how to threat professionally to customers..

I always go to Sephora because I love their products. Today I was looking for a make up remover and a concealer. Unfortunately the make up remover was out of stock. Which is totally fine. But the problem was with the concealer. Leila was the person “helping” me. But made me feel like I was a burden to her. Her attitude wasn’t pleasant at all. I needed the concealer so I was trying not to pay attention to her poker face and attitude while she was getting my matching tone. Once I decided for the one, she left me at the counter to pay and took off. I was waiting for her expecting that she’d finish her sale. She didn’t even say anything like someone else was coming to place my order.Anyways. I waited. And then a lovely girl (don’t remember her name) came and asked me if I needed something. Told her what happened. And she said sorry and placed my order. Thanks m to her I’mGiving the 3star. Otherwise I’d given less.Basically Leila left me unattended.

I went to shop here for the first time today. I usually visit the one in downtown. I just hated the vibe here. Cashier asked me did someone helped you to chose these products. I was like what kind of question was that. I was never asked like that before. Why did she even ask me such a question. If i need help i will ask. I know what i am shopping for. I felt like a racist comment. First train your staff properly.

Leila was absolutely amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about all things beauty and skincare and was able to answer all of my questions and provide me with great recommendations. She took the time to understand my specific needs and concerns and tailored her advice and suggestions accordingly. She was also very patient and understanding, never making me feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything. Not only did she provide me with great product recommendations, but she also gave me tips and tricks for applying makeup and taking care of my skin. She even showed me how to create a few different looks using the products she recommended.Overall, my experience with leila was fantastic. She was professional, friendly, and truly passionate about her work. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of beauty advice or product recommendations.

Today was my first ever experience at this location, I stopped in as I was waiting for my reservation at Earls. When I first came in, I was welcomed and told about the current promotion and what event was happening in store, which I thought was very exciting! As I proceeded to browse around, there was no one else asking if I needed anything, was I finding everything ok? Most of the girls were bunched around chatting to each other. When I tried to ask someone a question they would just walk past me as if I didn’t exist. Very disappointing needless to say.. I left and ordered my items online. Customer service at Sephora has really gone downhill. Which is sad to see.
