Aman was excellent with helping get our passport photos done for my infant and myself. He even helped me find a safe and private area to feed my baby while we waited for the pictures to develop.Every time I’ve been into this store, it’s always clean, great variety of products and staff are kind and helpful.

The consistent issues I've encountered at this pharmacy have left me frustrated and concerned. The subpar customer service has manifested in various ways, from unresponsiveness to a lack of resolution for problems. One glaring example is the repeated delivery mishaps – my medication has been mistakenly sent to another person address not once, but twice. This not only raises serious questions about their operational efficiency but also poses potential privacy and security concerns.Moreover, the problem of overcharging has added a financial strain to an already problematic situation. Finding inaccuracies in billing is not only inconvenient but erodes trust in the pharmacy's competence.For a service that deals with crucial matters like health and medication, these recurring issues are unacceptable. It's my hope that the pharmacy takes prompt and effective action to rectify these shortcomings, ensuring a more reliable and customer-centric experience for everyone relying on their services.

Maybe put a sign wherein cosmetic products can only be paid at the cosmetics counter? This lady from the cosmetics followed me like a lunatic across the store after I got a sunscreen and only told me to pay at the cosmetics after I got ALL my groceries and was about to pay. She was not even friendly about it too, like I should have known? How would a customer know about this policy when it’s okay and dandy for the other shoppers stores to do this? Put some signs, how do you patrol this on the daily, I don’t know. Maybe barricade the cosmetics department from the rest of the store. Be better.

Had our evening appointments booked for COVID mRNA and Influenza vaccines here yesterday. 7:50pm was the only time slot available when we booked right after we received the email notification. Very displeased with how they handled the appointments. Not only were they behind schedule but they also did not even have the Moderna vaccines reserved for us when we booked specifically for that online. We were only told that they just had Pfizer vaccines left when it was finally our turn. The reason given to us was that they had far too many walk-ins during the day. In my opinion it was very bad practice and morally wrong. The whole point of booking the appointments is to have the time slot and selected vaccines reserved for us when we show up for our appointments. Because of that, we had to run around quite late in the evening to see which pharmacy has Moderna vaccines. It was so frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We will never ever go back there again.Notes to SDM Customer Care:You may need to educate your pharmacy staff what is the right thing to do when it comes to handling customers who have appointments booked for COVID booster shots. Funny thing was when we went to a different pharmacy that evening after we left SDM. We were told that they had Moderna vaccines reserved for some individuals who had appointments but didn’t show up. As a result, we were given those unclaimed Moderna vaccines. We were so pleased with their ethics and kudos to their professionalism. An excellent example for your pharmacy team to learn from.

Just got back from the store and I have enough of this. Racial profiled for over nearly 2 years since I moved here. When I first moved around here , having the store here it would be great, cause its convenience and near by. Some of the staff are alright. Smile at you. Decently friendly. Not too bad selection of goods .But the Blackbird Security would just stare intensely at me for no reason. From first step foot into the store and right up to I pay and leave the store. No reason at all getting trail ,stare/glare up and down. Stare at my groceries basket. There will some people there but I would be the only brown person in the store. Guess who gets followed and stare intensively . At the same shop I go to for the last two years.Will give a call to the shoppers phoneline if it does anything at all. Thanks for giving me all the anxiety for doing nothing wrong. Will take my business elsewhere. Thanks.

I had one of the worst experiences taking a photo for my passport application in this facility (September 26, 2023).First of all, the machine that edits photos was not working for the longest time. We had to sit there waiting for the worker to call in his manager and they had to work around that for about 10 minutes. It wasn't a big deal and I understand instruments going out of order but it was just the beginning.Once the worker finished taking photos, we noticed there was a glare in the picture and we asked him if it was going to be accepted like that by Services Canada. He reassured us that it is no big deal and it is just a bit of sweat. He told us the editing machine is pretty old and he did not offer us to retake the photos.As a sidenote, he stamped the photos and gave them to us right away without giving us any warnings about fresh ink. We saw the stamp being smudged right away and we had to return to restamp the photos. He blamed us for smushing the stamp but there was no instructions given. Very unprofessional behavior with no accountability for his actions.We went to Service Canada the next day, waited about 5 hours to get our application submitted and the officer told us that the the quality of the photos presented is not acceptable and the passport application will be denied based solely on that. She specified that the glare that's present is the main issue and we had to go back and retake the photos.It was really frustrating especially because we noticed the problem right away but the aforementioned worker did not put any effort into solving our issue and we had to waste almost half a day with this inconvenience.We returned back to the Shoppers and even though we did get refunded, there was no sincere apology from the manager. She kept making up excuses for the mistake.Overall, I'd highly suggest to avoid this place for your photography needs and go to London Drugs Photography section instead. It is right across the street, it is way cheaper and the photographer there knows what he is doing. I had a pleasant experience there with no issues whatsoever.

My mood was marred this morning because of the service of the store employee Zoey Cho who works in the cosmetics department. Because the system does not have an option to put zero stars for her customer service I decided to provide my feedback in writing.She did not show any skill and understanding in communication with the clients. During the payment she dropped several purchased items on the floor and even after she saw that I was very upset by her service she didn’t try to apologize and did not attempt to correct the situation by doing something nice for the customer. As a result, the hairspray cap was broken and cannot close. Unfortunately, I only noticed this at home and didn’t have time to go back to the store. Then I asked her if she could give me some samples of a new cream but she replied that I was not eligible because I didn’t buy any creams today despite my purchase was $120 for haircare and another female products.May I say that this was a good service? I have never experienced such service and attitude in another similar store in Metrotown mall which staff is always very friendly and welcoming to customers. I am really disappointed and made a decision to avoid visiting your store in future.

I recently went to a walk in clinic for a persistent rash that I’ve been having all over my arm, where they prescribed me an allergy medication. However, unfortunately the medication did not work and I felt like I was losing sleep over this annoying problem.Fortunately enough I’ve learned recently that pharmacist are allowed to prescribe and the young pharmacist named Jeffrey was extremely informative and helpful. He was able to assess the situation and prescribed me a cream for atopic dermatitis and it worked instantaneously. After 3 or so days my rash is completey gone and I can’t thank him enough for his help. There service was also extremely fast compared to other pharmacies in the neighbourhood and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The lady working in cosmetics who answered the phone was rude - not a surprise reading all of the reviews. She informed that she wasn’t able to put a clearance item on hold even though multiple other shoppers I called were 100% able to do it. Took my business elsewhere who happily put the item I was looking for on hold for me.

Whenever I wanted to inquire about skincare in metrotown I felt like they didn't want to helping me. A few months ago I switched to this shoppers because metrotown wasn't helping me much with my consultations... and here it was wonderful! the skincare consultant have excellent disposition, a lot of patience and they sold me exactly what my skin needed. Thank you!

Pharmacist was extremely rude, didnt accept my carecard for prescription despite my girlfriend being there in person AND we called earlier to see if we can get prescribed for a prescription with just my carecard. Do not recommend at all. Such a shame that some of the most arrogant and selfish people are working in the healthcare industry.

Had a prescription sent here and was called twice to confirm it was ready for pickup. They promised it would be ready. I show up and am told my medication is “out of stock.” Either their pharmacy employees are liars or are totally incompetent. Not only wasted my time but offered little explanation for the mixup. Do not use this pharmacy.
