Here on a Saturday at 1pm. Waiting in a line of over 10 people and only two tellers. Would be helpful to have more staff especially on weekends when it’s the busiest.
There is one person greeting people at the door. It’s not clear to me the purpose of having this person here. I think it would provide more value to customers if there was an additional teller.

[UPDATE: Went again 2 days later of original posting of this review and again line up was close to the guest check in desk and slow as hell. I walked out. Probably faster driving to the other location on near Kingsway and Joyce]
This branch is the absolute worst. The staff here have absolutely zero concept of urgency. Waited 1hr in line and the line up was up to the guest desk. 2 Supervisors and managers watching over one dude. After every transaction the staff gingerly walk away do their transaction on their back computer and chit chat. Then two ppl leave on break leaving one person who’s got two speriors breathing down his neck. TD you need to do better. Also 90% of these people in line probably should learn to use the ATM

Not only are the staff incredibly condescending and rude, including the manager, but told me they weren't able to help me with held funds even though as soon as I call TD they were very clear that the branch should have helped me with those held funds.
Quite literally useless stuff

I had the hardest time Q he , mh bank card and ID and although some other banks made it very difficult for me, the branch manager (there was one female and one male, I will try to find out their names I forgot, were extremely helpful while I was trying to prove my identity and work with my out of province branch. Really love this branch of TD because of them!

Front door persons are absolutely useless. I’ve seen drug addicts tweaking out inside the branch sleeping & they refused to do anything. Who’s hiring these people?…

They need to hire more frontline staff. Every time I am at this branch, minimum wait time is about 30 minutes. Staff are amazing but need to hire more staff.

Never enough tellers working. Almost always a lineup no matter what time of day. If you are looking for expeditious banking, this is not the branch for you. . .

Had an awesome banking appointment with Rafael Buenaventura, he’s extremely knowledgeable in the process and strategies in home buying. Highly recommend.

This branch being in such a central and vital location has appalling hours. Went on a Sunday afternoon to use the ATM and they are closed because the ATM area is ONLY open when the branch is open. Seems absurd in this day and age to close your ATMs outside of regular hours. I understand that it’s probably for security reasons but for a major bank, I’m sure they can “reallocate” some resources to ensure it stays safe.

This location is a joke. ATM only opens during branch hours. Can’t afford hiring security, or creating a system where you tap your debit card to enter.

In short - DO NOT work with this branch, specifically JiaZheng (Patrick) Duan 段家正. He misleads and tells you lies and after the agreement signatures doesn't hold his commitments. The branch is not any better with their management lines being useless.
I dealt with the TD Canada Trust Station Square - Metrotown branch for my mortgage renewal. The senior personal banker JiaZheng (Patrick) Duan 段家正 was assigned. He came up with a proposal for my renewal that would get $4,100 cash back. This was his proposal and he never shared T&C's with me about this cash back. He had several times mentioned verbally and confirmed in writing the cash back I would receive after signing. On a final phone call before signing the renewal, I asked about the time it would take for the cash back to be deposited to which he answered 10 business days. The next day he emailed me and said he was mistaken and it would be 60 days. At this point he had clearly seen any T&Cs but never shared those with me. Fast forward to the agreement signed, I had to follow up on my cashback several times, beyond the 60-day window. I finally heard back that my mortgage renewal was not applicable for the cashback and at this point, I received the T&Cs. I've given the bank the opportunity to correct this based on all the proof I have in writing. They first dared to offer me $500 for the inconvenience. A week later we are at $1000... I only agree to what was verbally and in writing confirmed to me, which is $4,100 cash back. I'm pursuing legal action against Patrick, his manager Andrew Kim, and the branch for misleading customers and not delivering on legally binding agreements. I will pull out of all TD engagements as a result as Trust is nowhere to be found after this experience.
I DO NOT recommend working with TD, especially with the persons highlighted above. Find a bank that takes better care of their longstanding clients instead.
